Olivia Plath Addresses Abuse Issues On Instagram
Welcome to Plathville star Olivia Plath is using her Instagram for good. She posted something to inspire people to never accept abuse.

The Season 2 finale of Welcome to Plathville was rather shocking. Fans watched as Ethan Plath fought his father about his wife, Olivia, People says. The conversation went so far, they almost ended up in a fist-fight. This is definitely not something this family has gone through in the past. However, it’s been a long road and it’s not surprising that they ended up here.
Following this dramatic episode, Olivia began posting on Instagram. She shares the importance of not accepting abuse from anyone and standing up for oneself.
She shared an 8 slide long post giving advice to those in bad situations.
“These hard times, this pain, these lessons — one day they’ll be your strength, your awareness, your blessings,” read the first slide.
“Stop expecting honesty from people who lie to themselves,” the second ones says. “You’ll never look good trying to make someone look bad.”
“Save your explanations for those that are determined to understand you — give your silence to those that are determined to misunderstand you,” says the next one.
“Your life is too short to be unhappy 5 days a week in exchange for 2 days of freedom,” another reads.
“Anything you lose when you stand up for yourself, protect your boundaries and begin to grow, was not meant to stay.”
Then it says: “Don’t be upset about disrespect from people you don’t respect,” and “If you are easily provoked you are easily controlled — restraint is a superpower.”
Finally, the post concludes with this: “This is part of why people don’t speak up. They get unnecessary feedback from [people] filled with minimizing their experiences. How can people process or let things go they can’t even talk about in the first place?”
It seems that maybe these things resonate a bit with Olivia as she has struggled for a very long time with his family accepting her. Ethan’s mom thinks she is a bad influence on the younger children in the family, and clearly, Ethan’s dad has several issues with her.
The family relationship
Honestly, the whole family has a pretty odd dynamic at this point. Both Moriah and Micah moved out. Moriah even spent the holidays with her boyfriend in Florida.
Of course, fans saw what happened on the new episode. Ethan and Barry got into it about Olivia as Ethan tries to say goodbye to his younger siblings. Apparently, the family has not spoken since this falling out.
“When Ethan went no-contact, his parents basically said, ‘Alright, we’re totally fine with that’ and haven’t made any effort to reconcile,” Olivia reveals about the odd situation.
“I’m baffled, to be honest. I know there’s things that they don’t like about us, but I mean, it’s crazy to me how it’s gotten to this point. I think it’ll take a miracle to bring the two sides together,” Kim Plath says.
This family has a really long way to go when it comes to fixing things.
