‘Bachelor’ Contestant Kristen Hopkins Protects Friend From Dangerous Situation
The long-awaited season of The Bachelor finally premiers tonight. Of course, that means a whole new group of women will be trying to fall in love with Matt James. One of those women apparently is a pretty loyal friend.

Everyone knows about the girl code, but not everyone follows it. One Bachelor fan is telling the world exactly what Kristen Hopkins did for her and why she should get to win The Bachelor.
An Instagram user posted a photo about why Kristen Hopkins should win The Bachelor. Apparently, this user went to college with Kristen. On the way home from an alumni event, a man was trying to cheat on his wife with the Instagram user.
Apparently, the user didn’t notice. However, Kristen did and she stayed with her on the subway the whole time. She ended up riding the subway all the way in the wrong direction just to stay with this girl and keep her safe. How amazing is that? Definitely sounds like she has a big heart.
“A girl I knew in college is gonna be on the bachelor and one time after an alumni event she took a subway w/me & a man all the way in the wrong direction bc he was trying to cheat on his wife w/ me and I was too dull to notice,” she starts.
“So anyways I think she should win,” she concludes.
Apparently, Kristen is a 27-year-old attorney from Virginia Beach.
What else is to be expected on the show?
The Bachelor airs tonight while everyone continues to ride the happy proposal at the end of Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette. Hopefully, Matt will encounter the same happy ending for himself.
However, like all Bachelor Nation members, it won’t be an easy ride. In one promo for the season, he was already seen having a breakdown.
Of course, the promo starts like any other.
“The only thing that I’m missing is somebody to share a life with,” Matt says. “We gotta find out who Mrs. James is. It’s not going to be easy.”
However, then Matt can be seen crying on the curb. Chris Harrison steps in to make sure everything is okay.
“You OK?” Chris asks. Matt replies saying “No, I’m not.”
It will be interesting to see just what is causing that pain for Matt and how he is able to overcome it.
