Kelley Flanagan Breaks Silence On Peter Weber Breakup
2020 turned out to be a year of heartbreak for many Bachelor Nation couples. One of the latest splits was former Bachelor Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan. Peter announced their split on New Year’s Eve via Instagram. Until now Kelley said nothing of their breakup. Today, she finally opened up and shared her thoughts on their decision to go separate ways.
Kelley Flanagan Breaks Silence on Peter Weber split
Kelley went to Instagram January 3 to break her silence on her split from Peter. She shared an adorable photo of the two of them taken recently. Kelley said, “I know a lot of you have already heard the news, but I wanted to take some time to process it for myself before sharing…” She went on to say, “It saddens me to say this but Peter and I have decided to go our separate ways. Peter and I had some unbelievable times together and they will definitely be missed. Unfortunately him and I are in two different stages of our lives and saw our future paths differently.”
Kelley continued, “I wish Peter the absolute best and want to thank everyone for your continued support as I move on to my next chapter. I’m still hoping to make it to New York one of these days, but for now I just want to focus on my happiness! 2021, I can’t wait to see what you have in store!”
Their relationship
Everyone knows Kelley actually met Peter just before he started filming The Bachelor. After realizing they had chemistry she decided to go on the show. They continued to hit it off. However, Peter ended up sending her home just before hometowns.
They later reconnected after filming ended and his relationships with Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett went south. Peter realized he still had feelings for Kelley. The two spent tons of time together quarantining and then taking multiple trips. And, his family definitely approved of Kelley.
In fact, Peter’s mom Barbara has offered support for both Peter and Kelley following their split. A source recently said the move they were planning to make to New York contributed to their split. They were not getting along and realized they wanted different things.
Things didn’t seem to go downhill until fairly recently. Kelley is even seen wearing socks with photos of Peter on them on Christmas Day. However, they did spend the holidays apart. Fans were shocked to hear of their split.
