Lala Kent and Randall Emmett are getting called out once again. The Vanderpump Rules couple decided to travel once again amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On Saturday, December 26, the Irishman producer shared a group photo on Instagram that’s causing controversy. Read on to learn more.
Pump Rules couple goes on a weekend trip
Randall Emmett posted the photo on Instagram. The group photo shows him with his pregnant fiance and Sylvester Stallone. He wrote in the caption: “Emmett/Stallone family vacation.” In the photo, Randall tagged Sylvester and his daughters, Sistine and Sophia Stallone.
The photo received over 24,000 likes. But not everyone is on board with this idea. As fans know, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett love to travel in their private jet. And it’s unclear whether they are traveling for work or for pleasure.
This photo caused controversy for obvious reasons. The coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on in the U.S. and most parts of the world. The CDC has urged Americans to stay home during the holiday season. Even the COVID-19 vaccines aren’t going to make the novel virus go away anytime soon. Social distancing and face coverings are still a must and part of this new world that we live in.
Fans slam Lala Kent and Randall Emmet for breaking COVID guidelines
Randall’s photo sure caused a reaction. Some slammed the Hollywood producer for bringing Lala Kent and his kids along for the trip. Others noted that neither party wore masks or were social distancing. They accused the group of breaking the COVID-19 guidelines. Here are just some of the comments:
- “Way to socially distance.”
- “No masking?”
- “Why do some people get shamed for vacationing and some don’t? I guess it depends on who you are.”
- “What about COVID?”
- “COVID-19… guess don’t care.”
However, not all of the comments were negative. Some fans took to the post to remark on Lala’s looks. One fan wrote: “Lala looks happy,” while another added: “I love Lala so natural looking.” Others wished the couple safe travels.
Fans compare Sylvester Stallone to wax double
Of course, the comments didn’t stop there. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett had no clue what they were in for when they took part in this photo. Some of the users commented on Sylvester Stallone’s face. They compared him to his wax figurine at Madame Tussauds’ wax museum.
“Is that Sylvester Stallone or is that his wax figure?” one fan wrote. “WTF?”
“Sylvester needs a new Dr,” a second troll wrote.
“Wow! Sylvsters [sic] looking rough,” a third chimed in.
However, some users were starstruck. One wrote in all caps: “ROCKY!” Another joked that Sylvester and his family make for great “replacements for Jax and Schwartz” on Vanderpump Rules.
Where did Randall and Lala travel to?
Randall Emmett hasn’t responded to the backlash. Instead, he’s shared photos and clips of his weekend getaway. The Midnight in the Switchgrass producer is currently in Miami with Lala Kent and his two children, Rylee and London. He shared a photo of their vacation home on Instagram Stories.
