Ben Higgins Won’t Live With Jessica Clarke, Here’s Why
Bachelor alum Ben Higgins and his fiance, Jessica Clark just bought a house together. However, that doesn’t mean they are living together. In fact, they are staying apart until they get married.

Jessica took to Instagram to share some exciting news. She and her fiance and Bachelor alum, Ben Higgins, just bought a house together US Weekly says. Jessica shared a sweet photo of the two of them together with an even sweeter caption. It seems like they will really be happy together once they are married and moved in.
“Last week I started the moving process to Colorado and Into our FIRST HOME! The house is empty, but it’s ours! I’ll be living in it and making it into our little home until Ben joins me after the wedding. I can’t wait to share all of the little projects,” she writes on the Instagram post.
Apparently, the couple has actually been together for a little while. They started dating in 2018. Then, they got engaged in 2020. So, they have had two years together. However, early on, they made the decision to not get intimate until they are married. It seems appropriate that they would also not move in together.
This has always been their plan
“Based on my past, we talked about it early, especially doing [long] distance. But it wasn’t a hard conversation or a weird one,” Jessica says in an earlier interview. “I think as we got more serious, it became a bigger conversation.”
Even during the pandemic when they quarantined together, they still didn’t share a bed. Ben reveals this on The Viall Files earlier this year. Apparently, one slept upstairs and one slept downstairs. This certainly takes a lot of dedication from both of them.
“Right now she has a bedroom upstairs at her parents’ house, I’m in the downstairs,” Ben says. He adds that it has to do with “a respect level.”
While it may not be for everyone, if this makes Ben Higgins and Jessica Clarke happy, then they should definitely keep doing what they are doing. It’s pretty respectable that they can stick to what they want so well
