Last night was pretty dramatic on The Bachelorette, a lot of that has to do with Brendan Morais. He decided to send himself home last night after realizing he isn’t ready for an engagement. Now, he’s opening up on Instagram.
Brendan Morais on ‘The Bachelorette’
Brendan made it pretty far on The Bachelorette. In fact, he got all the way to fantasy suites. However, the night did not go quite as Tayshia had planned. During the day, the couple went to look at wedding rings. It was apparent from the look on his face, Brendan was not feeling it and was very uncomfortable. That night, he told Tayshia just that.
Brendan reveals that he was still too broken from his last marriage. While he thought he could be ready, he just wasn’t. Tayshia was pretty understanding since she has been married before as well. Then, she walked Brendan out.
Now, the star is opening up on his Instagram about how he really feels.
Brendan on Instagram
First, he posted quite a few photos of himself with Tayshia. They really look so cute and happy. The caption goes more into detail about his experience on the journey.
He starts by saying that he is so full of emotions right now.
“Reflecting on this amazing journey I am filled with a multitude of different emotions. First and foremost grateful for the opportunity to have met the beautiful Tayshia. Having shared unforgettable moments together through this once in a lifetime experience is something I will cherish for the rest of my life,” Brendan says.
He then goes into their non-fairy tale ending.
“Unfortunately, we didn’t have the fairytale ending. However, I leave this journey on my way to being a better man. I am certainly not perfect but I hope to learn and grow from every decision I make and every experience I am apart of.”
Despite them ending things, Brendan has nothing but good things to say about Tayshia.
“Tayshia is a special woman who deserves every amazing thing life has to offer and I’m so thankful to have been a part of her journey. I wish her the very best and many blessings in life,” he reveals.
Brendan ends things with a sweet sentiment.
“And lastly I am truly grateful for the people who have been rooting for me while watching this journey unfold. I know the best is yet to come. Wishing you all happy holidays and God bless! ✨”
Honestly, he couldn’t have said it better. While he and Tayshia weren’t meant to be together, it seems they brought out the best in each other. Now, they have the opportunity to find their true soulmates.
