As TV Shows Ace reports, the Duggar family has held several Christmas gatherings. This includes a party featuring the girls. At this party, the women in the family made wreaths and enjoyed Chick-Fil-A. The family also held their ugly Christmas sweater party recently. While fans agree that the two get-togethers look like fun, they noticed that Jill Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard were not invited.

Duggar fans miss Jill Dillard

In the photos that the family members have been sharing, almost everyone is visible. As mentioned, Jill and Derick, as well as their sons Israel and Samuel, haven’t been seen at these get-togethers. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo have also missed these events, but that’s because they live in Los Angeles, California. They didn’t travel back to Arkansas for these gatherings. Jill and Derick live near the Duggar family, so that’s not a factor that would prevent them from attending these events.

At this point, it’s unclear whether Jill or Jinger will visit the Duggar family on Christmas Day.

In response to the family’s posts, fans are saying that they miss Jill. They wish they could still see her in the family’s photos. But, the family doesn’t often share pictures of Jill and Derick. Some fans are asking the family where Jill and Derick are. They’re curious about why Jill and Derick don’t see the family anymore.

Why might Jill and Derick not be a part of the Duggar family’s get-togethers?

Longtime fans of the Duggar family will recall that there is some drama between the Duggars and Jill Dillard. It’s unclear what exactly caused the issues between the parents and their daughter. But their relationship has not been the same for a while now.

Derick has been outspoken about the lack of compensation he and Jill received for being on TLC’s Counting On. Derick also claims to be writing a tell-all book about the family. He even urged TLC to “lawyer up.”

Since Jill and Derick got married, they’ve slowly been abandoning some of the family’s strict conservative values. While Jill and Derick are still Christians, they have started doing things a little bit differently. For one, Jill wears pants instead of skirts or dresses. They also sent their son to public school. Jill supposedly drank alcohol with her cousin too. None of these things are newsworthy for most people, but it shows that Jill and Derick are setting themselves apart.

So, what do you think of the Duggar family excluding Jill Dillard from their gatherings? Do you think it was intentional or an accident? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
