We are on the last few days of It’s A Wonderful Lifetime, and they are still premiering new movies. This includes A Christmas Break, starring Cindy Sampson (My Secret Valentine),  and Steve Byers (The Babysitter’s Revenge).

Can two people who crushed on each other when they were in high school, still find the same spark?

What Is A Christmas Break About?

According to TVLine, Addison Tate (Sampson) is a school teacher. She really wants this Christmas to be special. That is because the local School Board has voted to close her school. That is despite the fact that this school is at the top. This means that the kids will all be forced to go to other schools. And, she may be out of a job.

On a chance encounter at a Christmas tree lot, Addison meets Danny (Byers). He is back home from Hollywood, where he is a successful actor.

There is an immediate attraction. Well, there always was. They were crushing on each other way back in school. That is, until he dumped her.

Nonetheless, she wants him to direct the Christmas play. Moreover, she thinks this could bring some much needed attention and funds to the school.

Subsequently, he wants to help her save the school. Can they find love and save the place she loves, before Christmas?

A Christmas Break, premieres on Sunday, December 20, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on Lifetime.

It’s A Wonderful Lifetime

It is only a few more days left of Lifetime’s 24/7 movie programming. They have released over 30 brand new Christmas movies for 2020. How many have you seen?

One of the top fan favorites is Dear Christmas, starring Melissa Joan Hart (Melissa and Joey) and Jason Priestley (90210). She plays a podcast host and writer, who specializes in relationships. Trouble is, she has never been in a serious relationship in her life. Enter a gorgeous fireman, and sparks literally fly.

This year, Lifetime made their first Christmas movie with a lead LGBTQ story, The Christmas Setup. This hysterical Christmas romance stars real life married couple Ben Lewis (Arrow) and Blake Lee (Parks and Recreation). Adding to the fun is Fran Drescher (The Nanny) and Ellen Wong (Glow).

Most recently Lifetime released A Christmas Exchange. This movie about a house exchange stars Laura Vandervoort (V-Wars), Rainbow Sun Francks (High Fidelity), Yanic Truesdale (The Fixer), and Martin Roach (The Wedding Planners). Could two singletons switching up their rural Connecticut and swanky London residents find true love?

Lifetime has made their Christmas movies available online. In addition, they are already available to purchase. You can have a copy of your own favorite holiday movie!
