As TV Shows Ace previously reported, TLC’s Unexpected is returning for its fourth season. You can read more about the upcoming season here.

The new season is sure to be full of new drama and interesting storylines, as that’s been true of Seasons 1 through 3. The show follows teen parents as they navigate pregnancy, relationships, and adjusting to parenthood.

This season will introduce several new teen parents. Some of the teen parents from previous seasons will be returning though.

Tyra and Alex will be back on the show. The pair is raising their daughter, going to college, and maintaining their long-distance relationship.

In addition, Lilly Bennett will be welcoming her second child with her new boyfriend, Lawrence. During Season 1, Lilly gave birth to her daughter with ex-boyfriend, James Kennedy. Now, her toddler daughter is getting a sibling.

On the show, we will meet new teen parents, Jenna & Aden, Myrka & Ethan, and Reanna & Taron.

If your favorite teen parents from Unexpected aren’t returning to the show, you can still keep up with them. Hailey Tilford, better known as Hailey 2, is active on social media. McKayla Adkins also shares frequent social media updates about herself and her kids.

When will TLC’s Unexpected premiere?

The show will air on TLC on December 20 at 10/9c. You can see a clip from the upcoming season here.

With the TLC Go app and on the TLC website, you can access episodes early. Often, episodes of your favorite TLC shows are available to stream in the morning on the air date. So, instead of watching the episode at 10/9c, you can watch it earlier in the day. You can also watch episodes after they air by using the TLC Go app and website.

As described in the press release, a mid-form series is available to stream on TLC Go now. The press release from TLC reads, “Viewers can meet the young expectant moms and their families before UNEXPECTED premieres in the digital mid-form series BABY BUMPS, which premieres on TLC Go on December 13.”

If you haven’t watched the first three seasons of the show, they’re available to stream on the TLC Go app as well.
