Jim Edmonds Claims Meghan King Left Family Home A ‘Pigsty’

Jim Edmonds is not happy with the way Meghan King left their family home. TV Shows Ace previously reported that the RHOC alum moved out. She moved into her new St. Louis home with her kids. Meghan showed off her home during an Instagram Live in late November.

This came after fans wondered if she was still with entrepreneur Christian Schauf. But shortly thereafter, the couple confirmed their split. In the meantime, Meghan is still dealing with drama from her ex-husband. Jim accused her of leaving their home “dirty and messy” after she moved out.

Meghan King didn’t clean up after herself?

Jim Edmonds didn’t have anything good to say about his ex-wife. He accused her of leaving the home in a “pigsty” after she moved out. As for Meghan, she just wants to move on with her life. However, that hasn’t stopped Jim from haggling with her in the media.

The former athlete claims she left a few things behind. The former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member announced on Instagram on Thursday, December 10 that she officially moved out of the home she used to share with her ex-husband. Meghan also addressed her mixed feelings about the move.

“I have the contents of my freezer in the grocery bags and I’m OUT!” she wrote in her Instagram post. “I cried as I left my beautiful home of 6 ½ years and thanked it for all the lovely memories as I walked through each room… May only happiness and joy exude from my new house and may my old house be purchased by a family who will love it as much as I did.”

In the photo, Meghan carried an armful of bags. She also posed in the spotless area of her home. The mommy blogger wore a camouflage shirt, a black quilted vest, and black sweatpants. She also had a big smile on her face.

Jim Edmonds shares a different story

Following Meghan’s move, Jim Edmonds took to his Instagram to call her out. He claims she left a big mess behind. However, it was hard to tell in the photo Megan posted on her Instagram page. In his Instagram Stories, Jim walked through his home to reveal the current state of each room.

The MLB alum claims that Meghan left the place “dirty and messy.” In the series of posts, Jim showed clutter left on the kitchen countertops. He also panned his camera over to a pile of clothes on the floor. Jim said that there were “lots of fingerprints” on his stainless steel refrigerator, along with freezer drawers filled with food.

“Not used to this landlord stuff here,” Jim said into the camera. “I didn’t realize that someone would leave a house this dirty and messy. I have four people in here throwing trash away that was just left behind.”

Jim also showed some “more trash” in the bathroom, along with “some poop in the toilet.” The former Bravo star gave his followers a TMI tour. Now, the 50-year-old is looking back on that moment with a laugh. He joked that his kids have become his “tenants” amid the controversy.

Meghan responds to her estranged husband’s remarks

She has since responded to what Jim Edmonds revealed to her on Instagram. She released a statement to Us Weekly.

“I’m going through an emotionally heavy transition, and I’m choosing to only look for the positive because the negative is too much for me to take on right now,” Meghan told the outlet on Sunday, December 13. “I’m very excited to be in my new home with my children!”

She also threw shade at Jim on her Instagram Stories. Meghan joked that her new home is never clean, “but there is always LOVE AND LAUGHTER.” The couple split in October 2019. Meghan and Jim’s divorce continues to play out in the media.
