Many people were so excited to hear that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev won Dancing With The Stars, but not everyone was happy. Many fans felt that Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson should have won this season. Within minutes of the official announcement, “Nev was robbed” exploded on Twitter. However, you can’t please everyone. Yahoo! Entertainment recently sat down with DWTS hostess Tyra Banks to discuss the season finale.
“You know what? I never got a word in. I just was watching them,” Tyra explained. “Artem was tearing up and I just didn’t really get a moment because it was all just emotion, emotion, emotion, honestly.”
Tyra Banks admitted she didn’t get a chance to speak one-on-one with any of the contestants after the show. She says she felt sad because she really wanted to hug everyone, but that wasn’t possible due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Yahoo! Entertainment asked Tyra if she thought Kaitlyn would win. She replied,
“I had a feeling she would be a final finalist. I felt it. She’s got that technical thing. She knows what she’s doing.”

Tyra Banks Had A Lot Of Beautiful Costumes This Year
If you tuned in at all this season, you probably noticed that Tyra Banks had a lot of flamboyant costumes and wardrobe changes. However, this week she admitted she only had one hour before the show to plan her outfits. She didn’t have time to do a fitting, but they made it work anyway. She said she would have even rocked a t-shirt and jeans if she had to.
Online, many fans said they didn’t care for the costume changes. Every time they got a chance to say something unkind and negative, they often did. But Tyra isn’t interested in hearing from the haters.
“What good does that do, participating in that? I don’t think there’s anything really positive from that,” she said in earlier interviews. “We’re not gonna let that get us down. We’re gonna keep changing clothes; people want it.”
In fact, Tyra Banks had to put up with quite a lot this season. No matter what she tried, a handful of viewers were bound and determined to take shots at her. The rude comments came even when things happened that weren’t her fault.
It could be a while before we hear anything about Dancing With The Stars Season 30. After all, Season 29 just ended last night. But it’s always fun to think about who might join the cast next year.
