Lifetime’s ‘A Taste Of Christmas’ Is Delicious Holiday Romance

Lifetime’s latest It’s A Wonderful Lifetime Christmas movie is A Taste Of Christmas. Starring Anni Krueger (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Gilles Marini (Days Of Our Lives) and Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), This is the story about giving up the perfect, and making the heart happy.

What Is Lifetime’s A Taste Of Christmas About?

What is this Lifetime Christmas movie about? Natalie (Krueger) springs to action when she heard that her cousin Francesca (Vardalos) is forced to cancel the opening of her new Italian restaurant. Francesca planned on opening it up on Christmas Eve.

Natalie feels especially bad for the many guests who planned on celebrating at the new restaurant. So, she has decided that it is her mission to make sure this happens. Problem is, Chef Stefano (Marini) is not terribly optimistic about making it all happen in a matter of three short days. He may be extremely attractive, but he doesn’t have a very good attitude.

But, Natalie has a different life point of view. Always someone who sees the glass half full, she sees every problem as solvable, and considered them an opportunity. She is going to open the restaurant, no matter what the obstacle. She tries to get the mercurial Stefano to see her world view.

Although Stefano and Natalie are irritating each other, there is an attraction. Stefano reluctantly teaches Natalie how to cook. In turn, she starts to see him in a new light. She teaches him to think outside the box. He teaches her that she doesn’t have to be perfect.

Who Is Anni Krueger?

Anni Krueger is a Waterloo Iowa native. Both a singer and actress, she is super excited to be in Lifetime’s A Taste of Christmas. She told the Courier, “I’m just so excited to have a film to share with everyone that is uplifting and joyful and can provide a little escapism and comfort at a time when we really need it. It’s not a specific genre, just a feel-good movie everyone can watch as a family.”
Although she auditioned in October 2019, Kreuger flew out to Georgia to film right after Thanksgiving. They filmed A Taste Of Christmas one and a half hours north of Atlanta.
That means they filmed the movie right during Christmas time. Filming took place for three weeks, so they completed the movie before the actual holiday.
