Does Kim Kardashian Have Mom Guilt?
Undoubtedly, 2020 is a year for the record books. However, it seems that Kim Kardashian is feeling some sort of way amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Kim Kardashian seems to have mom guilt
US Weekly reports Kim recently opened up to Khadijah Haqq about parenting struggles. Fans may recognize Haqq from the Dash Dolls days. Now Khadijah is mom to son Christian, 10, and daughter Celine, 6, and another baby on the way.
It seems that Kim’s struggles are a part of the added stress coming from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Alarmingly, she shares that she doesn’t care if she hears Chicago crying in the other room. “I literally am feeling like an awful mom just letting her cry in the other room and figuring it out. It’s just like, I can’t.”
However, it appears that speaking with Haqq alleviates some of Kim Kardashian’s mom guilt. Kim shares that seeing another mom (Khadijah) go through something similar makes her “feel normal again.” In the confessional for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim says, “I definitely feel like I just needed that boost. So I think I was definitely being too hard on myself.”
Seemingly adding to the pressures of parenting is that Kim Kardashian’s husband, Kanye West, tested positive with COVID-19. In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians from last month, Kim explains that Kanye stayed in the master bedroom while recovering from the virus. She acknowledges that having four kids isn’t easy. “I think it’s just really overwhelming because every last task is my responsibility, and it’s really hard to juggle it all with four kids,” explains Kim.
Will there be a fifth baby?
Consequently, this isn’t the only revelation Kim Kardashian has during coronavirus quarantine. It seems that at one point, a fifth baby may have been on the table. However, after living in lockdown, it seems that things have changed for the mother of four. “Being at home with four kids, if I ever thought for a minute that I wanted another one, this is out the door,” Kim tells The View.
Notably, the coronavirus quarantine hasn’t been all bad for Kim Kardashian and her family. Kim highlights some of the fun they’ve been having together as a family since they’ve had so much time together. She notes that since they aren’t traveling all the time, they’ve had more time for family bonding. Activities of note include going on walks outside and watching “every single movie you could possibly imagine.” Kim also tells Refinery29 that North thinks she’s running the house. “I cannot get away from her,” she adds.
