Tonight is the night fans will see Clare Crawley make her big exit as The Bachelorette. And, fans are excited to see Tayshia Adams make her big debut in Clare’s place. Last Tuesday, viewers were left seeing Tayshia come out of the water in the fashion of Fast Times At Ridgemont High. She seductively came out of the water wearing a red bikini just like what happened in the movie. Now, Chris Harrison is dishing on that iconic moment and much more.
Chris dishes on Tayshia’s pool entrance
He spoke with E!News about Tayshia’s promo and much more. It was a memorable moment when rumors were finally clarified and confirmed. Until that moment nobody from ABC would say whether or not it was fact that Tayshia would become The Bachelorette. It was the confirmation fans have been waiting for. Tonight they get to see her first interactions as the lead.
Chris said, “There was a massive easter egg dropped at the end of this last episode. It was something that we debated a lot—what we will do, when we will do it, how we will do it. And we thought something very abrupt and something just very jarring would be perfect and also something that was a bit of a tip of the cap to famous movie moments like Phoebe Cates in Fast Times and Halle Berry and the rising from the ocean, or getting out of the pool. So there was there was this very large easy easter egg for people to see, and we just wanted a slap in the face to Bachelor Nation of, we’re leaning into this now we know where this is going. Buckle your seat belts, you’re in for a wild ride.”

Nobody would confirm her role at that point
At first, everyone was playing coy about why Tayshia was there. Now, the cat is out of the bag and she is definitely taking over. And, Reality Steve has already even spoiled her season. And, tonight, everyone will finally know exactly how Clare leaves. Will Tayshia find the love like Clare did?
If all the rumors are right, she and Dale decide to leave together. Are they engaged? As for what Chris thinks about Clare’s exit, he is fine with it. He said, “At the end of the day, Clare came here to find love,” he said. “She made no bones about it she was here to sincerely find the love of her life. If she did that in 10 weeks, great. If she did that in 10 days, great. The goal is for me to help her find love. If she does it early, I’ve done an even better job and I feel like that should go on my record.”
Chris went on to say he is not mad at Clare and doesn’t think anyone else should be either. And, he hints that the roller coaster is not over just yet. Could Tayshia’s part of the season have just as much drama as Clare’s? Chris says, “There’s always more crazy twists coming. It’s The Bachelorette. Come on!”
