Who would have thought that being kidnapped could be so much fun? This is as Melissa Claire Egan shared behind-the-scene photos, previewing Chelsea’s abduction in Wednesday’s episode. It turned out to be a take-your-husband-to-work day, as Matt Katrosar is revealed to be the Masked Man.
The Young and the Restless and Chelsea’s abduction
Fans just got a preview of Wednesday’s episode of the CBS daytime soap. Am image posted to Instagram by Melissa Claire Egan reveals her kidnapper on that episode. It turned out to be none other than her real-life husband, Matt Katrosar. This definitely made the kidnapping an unusually fun event!
Melissa posted three images while posing with her handsome hubby, Matt. The first shows her putting on her best “scared face” with her menacing “kidnapper” standing nearby. In the second image, neither of them can keep a straight face. However, the final image shows Melissa as Chelsea and Matt as her kidnapper. They were clearly laughing their way into the Chancellor living room. Check out the three fun images below.
The Y&R star captioned the images, writing “when you have to get ‘kidnapped’ on the show you work on.” The caption continued to explain that no one is allowed to touch you “during Covid times.” This means that sometimes your husband gets to come in and do the job.
It ended, “Tune in Wednesday (but watch all week, it’s gettin’ real juicy!).” She added that fans get to see “@katrosar kill it as the “masked man”, (he prefers to be called Stryker).”
Exciting twists and turns in Y&R
