On social media Thursday, Jessa Duggar Seewald shared a new video. The Counting On daughter’s new video features her one-year-old daughter, Ivy. Ivy is wearing a pink dress with gray leggings. She’s standing in front of the fireplace beside the Christmas tree.
In the video, Ivy is taking a look at the Christmas tree, which Jessa recently put up. The tree is decorated with white lights but no ornaments. Ivy seems to love the tree and is even hugging it. Jessa calls Ivy her “little tree hugger.”
While recording the video, Jessa tells Ivy she is so sweet for hugging the tree. Ivy makes an excited noise as she gives it a hug. She also pats the branches and lights before going in for another hug. The little one looks like she’s loving the new Christmas decorations.
Duggar family friend, Carlin Bates, of Bringing Up Bates, commented and said that Jessa’s video makes her want to decorate too. Carlin has a young daughter, Layla, who will likely love the Christmas tree just like Ivy does.
Duggar fans share plans for Christmas trees this year
Of course, Counting On fans think Ivy is cute. Many of them are gushing over the sweet toddler as she gives her love to the Christmas tree. But they are also talking about putting their own Christmas trees up soon.
In fact, some Duggar fans have already put their trees up, despite it being the end of October. Others are talking about putting theirs up in the beginning of November. They point out that they could use a little bit of joy this year. They also say that this year isn’t normal in any way, so putting their trees up early doesn’t have to make sense. One fan even noticed that Jessa has a pumpkin beside the Christmas tree.
There are a handful of fans saying it’s too soon to decorate for Christmas. But, most agree with Jessa and like that she’s brightening up her home in this way. They can’t wait to see how her family celebrates the holiday season this year. It’s safe to say that things will look different in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
