Bethenny Frankel Comes For Kim Kardashian’s Birthday Getaway

Bethenny Frankel was not a fan of Kim Kardashian’s 40th birthday party. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the KUWTK star got major backlash. Recently, she had an island getaway with some of her closest family and friends. Except it wasn’t some intimate affair.

In fact, Kim attended the event with a large group of people. The reality star posted the photos on social media and got criticism. Some people even poked fun at Kim by turning her photos into a meme. Now, Bethenny is slamming the SKIMS founder.

In fact, she has the perfect hashtag for Kim’s trip.

Bethenny Frankel isn’t afraid to speak her mind. She’s been using her social media to promote charitable efforts. The Bravo star even created awareness of the coronavirus pandemic. She did her part to help people who were struggling with the devastating health and economical tolls.

The Real Housewives of New York alum mocked Kim Kardashian after she came under fire for her birthday getaway amid the COVID-19 pandemic. On Thursday, October 29, Bethenny took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with her 10-year-old daughter, Bryn. The mother-daughter duo posed on top of their marble island in their kitchen.

The duo wore matching sweaters and party sunglasses while holding cocktail glasses. Their island was decorated by a bar sign, a tropical-scented candle, a furry flamingo, and seashells.

“Took the family to private (kitchen) island,” Bethenny captioned the post. It seems she was quoting the tweet that Kim used earlier this week while sharing the photos from her private vacation. Then, she included the hashtags “#privileged, #blessed, #humbled, #thisis50, #thisisme, and #turning50.”

Bethenny’s latest post comes after she slammed Kylie Jenner for sharing a photo of her 2-year-old daughter, Stormi wearing a $12,000 Hermes backpack. In short, the little girl posed in front of Kylie’s luxury car on her first day of school.

“I never say anything about this stuff but this is the most transparent humble brag I’ve seen yet,” Bethenny commented on the Instagram post. “It’s everything wrong with everything.”

Why did Kim Kardashian get backlash?

The Kardashian-Jenner clan received backlash. This came after Kim shared the photos of her beach bash, which included Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. The family traveled to an undisclosed private island to celebrate her birthday. Clearly this came as a shock to fans since Kim initially revealed that she was doing something low-key this year.

Subsequently, the KKW Beauty founder acknowledged “how privileged [her] life is” and informed her fans that her guests had to quarantine for two weeks before the trip. But still,  social media users called her posts “tone-deaf” and “insensitive” as coronavirus cases surge in the U.S.
