VanderBUMP Rules? Scheana Shay Confirms Pregnancy Months After Miscarriage
What is in the water at SUR?! Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay is the latest Bravolebrity to announce her pregnancy! This comes months after she suffered a devastating miscarriage. As fans know, Scheana’s journey to love and babies has been a long one.
She has been dating former rugby player Brock Davies for over a year. On Wednesday, October 28, the “Good As Gold” singer shared some happy news with her fans: She is expecting a baby!
Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay Joins Mom-To-Be Club
Vanderpump Rules fans will be waking up to some fantastic news today! The SURver took to her social media platforms to share the news. Additionally, she spoke to People for an exclusive interview about her pregnancy.
In the interview, Scheana reveals that she “got pregnant quickly” after suffering a miscarriage in June. As fans know, her Pump Rules co-star, Stassi Schroeder made a surprise pregnancy announcement that same month. It came within days of Stassi getting fired by Bravo for racially insensitive behavior.
So, while Scheana was pregnant at the same time as Stassi, she sadly suffered a miscarriage. But so as not to ruin Stassi’s moment, Scheana kept quiet about her miscarriage for a few weeks.
The earlier pregnancy was a complete surprise to Scheana. As viewers know, she has been freezing her eggs amid fertility issues. However, it turns out that both pregnancies were conceived naturally!
Upon her doctor’s advice, she waited “one period and ovulation cycle” after her miscarriage before trying again. She knew she was pregnant almost immediately. A test confirmed it.
But, Scheana admits to being scared that she will miscarry again. She said, “I [have] to keep convincing myself it’s okay because last time I woke up one day and there’s no other way to explain it, just that I didn’t feel pregnant anymore.”
When is Scheana Due?
Scheana shared the announcement on her Instagram. In the photo, Brock kisses her cheek as she holds up an ultrasound and positive pregnancy test. In the caption, she uses her motto, “It’s all happening.”
Furthermore, like her co-stars Lala Kent and Brittany Cartwright, Scheana is expecting her bundle of joy in April of 2021. Stassi is due in just a few short months, in early January.
Brock left a sweet note for his baby mama in the comments. He wrote, “We did a thing honey. I’m so happy I have you to balance me out, I love you honey… congratulations to us.”
But he wasn’t the only one offering congrats in the comments.
Love From Fans Pours In
Scheana Instagram followers FLOODED the comments with well wishes. The official Instagram of BravoTV wrote, “It’s truly all happening! You’re not boy crazy…you’re BABY crazy 🙌❤️🍼.”
Below Deck Med star Hannah Ferrier is due any time now with her own baby. She wrote, “So so so happy for you guys!!! 💗💗💗💗.”
None of Scheana Vanderpump Rules co-stars reacted yet, but Scheana’s announcement came around 6 a.m. L.A. time. Perhaps Scheana’s baby announcement will help end her feud with Stassi and Lala.
