Chrissy Teigen lost her baby, and her fans mourned for her. But, in her latest full disclosure of that time, she totally poured out her heart. Even if you never fell pregnant, you might grasp some inkling of the pain and sorrow of losing a baby.
Chrissy Teigen wrote her own story about the loss of her baby
We reported on October 17, that Chrissy updated about losing her son Jack, in a short message. Om Instagram, she wrote, ” We are quiet, but we are okay…Love you all so much.” Well, now she wrote an article about it that comes as an eight-minute read. There’s nothing short about it. And each and every word that she penned on Medium carries a powerful message about love, loss, and gratefulness.
Many strangers sent her messages, and she assured everyone that she read all of them. But, the ones that help her the most are those that tell her not to believe Jacks’ loss is “God’s plan.” And, the random kindness of strangers makes her feel very blessed. Chrissy talked about the “checkout lady quietly added flowers to my cart.” And, the people who pass her notes of comfort. For Chrissy Teigen, she finds some “joy” in that.
Devastating read as Chrissy waits to birth her son
In words that conjure up images of pain and devastation, Chrissy talked about how she knew the time came to say goodbye to Jack. In fact, she lost so much blood, Jack lay in her womb in so little fluid, “I could lay on my back and feel his arms and legs from outside my belly.” And, she described the loss as “Utter and complete sadness.” And, she explained, “I went into full blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness.”
Chrissy Teigen explained that she couldn’t keep the baby but she still needed to birth him. Baby Jack came out fast and easily enough, and she “kissed his feet” and tiny little “hands.” Now, they keep Jack’s ashes close. Chrissy said, “his ashes are in a small box, waiting to be put into the soil of a tree in our new home, the one we got with his room in mind. ”
No regrets for photos
Talking about the photos that John took, Chrissy doesn’t care if you liked them or hated them. She said, “I knew I needed to know of this moment forever, the same way I needed to remember us kissing at the end of the aisle.” And, she added, “I cannot express how little I care that you hate the photos.” Plus, she added that those photos are for those who went through it. Or, “for the people who need them.”
Chrissy Teigen poured out her heart and took people on a journey that both mourns Jack, and celebrates love.
