Why Jessica More Lashed Out At The ‘Below Deck Med’ Reunion
Part 2 of Monday night’s Below Deck Med Season 5 reunion was intense. Even Jessica More was heated. She lashed out at Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White when they explained Hannah Ferrier’s firing. She became increasingly frustrated when neither one would let her speak.
Jessica came to the reunion with guns blazing. She defended the chief stew when the discussion quickly turned to whether Hannah had a CBD or a THC oil vape pen. Jessica argued that she owns a vape oil pen for CBD. But Rob Westergaard jumped into the conversation and claimed she had weed on board.
She put Below Deck Med stars on blast
Jessica More argued the claims that no one could take medication on board the yacht. It seems like each of the crew members have different experiences on the yachts they worked on. Bosun Malia White said following maritime law was important because the crew was operating machinery. Jessica had enough of her Below Deck Med crew members and it was clear.
The reality star argued that they don’t disclose the medication laws. Then Captain Sandy Yawn said that the laws are in their contracts, to which Malia agreed. “It’s literally in your contract,” Malia said.
“I worked on so many boats and I never knew that was like a big deal,” Jessica responded. “I understand it’s in my contract. What I’m saying is, if it’s that big of a deal …”
Captain Sandy cut her off, saying that it’s written in her contract. She informed Jessica to read her contract. “Yeah, thank you,” the model sarcastically said before adding, “Thanks for the tip. What I’m saying is …” Then her ex-boyfriend interrupted her when he joined the conversation.
Deckhand Rob Westergaard said he was leaving the Zoom meeting. “Okay well bye,” Jessica said. “What I’m saying is if it’s that big of a deal and jeopardizing your license, I would think that it would be something that I would…” But then Captain Sandy interrupted her again.
“Just stop talking, because you know what Jess, you have no idea what you’re talking about,” Sandy said. “You have no idea.” Then she reiterated that Jessica should read her contract. Sandy and Jessica continued to argue as the other crew members watched on.

Jessica More lashes out at Season 5 reunion
The Below Deck Med star had enough. She didn’t want anyone else to interrupt her again. Jessica couldn’t even get her point across. But no one would let her.
“I really wish I could talk but let me shut up so you can have the floor and speak yourself,” Jessica said as Sandy laughed. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew looked uncomfortable. When Malia joined the conversation, it only got worse. “We’ve heard you talk,” Jessica told Malia. “We’ve seen your posts. I’m just trying to get one word out from somebody on the other side.”
By this point, Jessica was tired. She still couldn’t get a word in edgewise. Even chief stew Christine “Bugsy” Drake interrupted Jessica. “I keep getting shut up by Captain Sandy and Malia,” she said. When host Andy Cohen asked Jessica what she liked to stay, she exclaimed: “No, now I’m f***ing p***ed off. I don’t have s*** to say!”
It was an unsuccessful reunion. Even Below Deck Med fans were disappointed. They hoped the reunion would tie up loose ends. Others hoped that former chief stew Hannah Ferrier would get her redemption arc.
