Get To Know ‘The Bachelorette’ 2020 Contestant Zac Clark
The third episode of The Bachelorette will air Tuesday night and fans are developing fan favorites. One contestant who has caught the eye of many is Zac Clark. And, some spoilers are saying he also caught the eye of Tayshia Adams. So, what do fans need to know about Zac?
Some things to know about Zac
Marie Claire shared some interesting facts about Zac and his backstory. Zac has overcome some things in his past some never do. And, he took his bad past and turned it into helping others who may be struggling like he did.
Zac has been in recovery for many years. And, he runs a sober living facility. Reality Steve uncovered a story featuring the contestant. He has been through a lot in his young life. In his younger years he became addicted to alcohol as a kid. Then he moved on to stronger drugs. He used Adderall in college, morphine and other prescribed drugs after a brain tumor removal. And, Zac even voluntarily had his gall bladder removed to gain access to more drugs.
Following an arrest for crack cocaine and intoxicated driving, Zac spent over four months in a treatment facility. He’s now sober and inspiring others to do the same.
He cofounded a treatment center
Zac cofounded a transitional living facility called Release Recovery. They founded it in 2017 to help those who are addicts and want to get into recovery. According to the report, they also have a center for women in New York on the Upper East Side and opened a Men’s Program in New York in 2020. Plus they even had Senator Shelley Mayer visit them.
And, if that doesn’t show his ambition for helping others, he also runs marathons. The marathons he runs the marathons to raise money and awareness about addiction and mental health. Plus he makes sure some of the proceeds go to the treatment center he himself went to.
Other facts to know about Zac
A big thing about him is that he is very close to his family. And, he’s been married once before. The marriage didn’t work out and he’s divorced. He also played baseball in college and originally wanted to pursue a career in sports.
And, apparently he makes it far in Tayshia’s portion of the season. Zac is definitely one to keep an eye on as the season moves forward.
