‘BiP’ Alum Jade Roper Talks About Pregnancy During COVID-19

BiP star Jade Roper talks pregnancy

BiP alum Jade Roper nears the time for her third childbirth. The baby’s due in November but could come along before that. Of course, things felt a bit different for Tanner Tolbert’s wife this time, as she went through her pregnancy during COVID-19.

BiP alum Jade Roper missed family and friends during pregnancy

We reported that Tanner took a photo that showed the “raw authenticity” of pregnancy. It captured Jade and motherhood without any touch-ups or fashion statements. Fans loved it because that’s the reality of life with little kids. One child in her arms, another with a soft toy and tiny kiddie’s undies slung over the chair. But this year, things for pregnant moms seem rather unusual. Probably, like the Bachelor in Paradise star, pregnant people struggle a bit without their family and friends around.

Jade talked about it on Instagram this Friday. She shared a photo of her baby bump and captioned it with, “Pregnancy and raising kids is already hard, and then add the layer of COVID-19 and worrying about staying healthy and I’ll be the first to admit that it’s overwhelming.” Then the ABC star noted that she “missed family and friends” popping in. Mind you, she feels “grateful” being a mom to her as yet unborn child.

Coping during COVID-19

Next, the Bachelor in Paradise star talked about an App that helps her. While it might be a promo, she said that she uses the “Peanut app.” And, it helps her “connect with other pregnant people going through the same challenges.” That way, she meets up with people at about the same stage of pregnancy. Calling it a “safe space,” Jade says she finds “much-needed support at this time of uncertainty.”

Jade Roper likes that she need not go it alone, and mentioned, “we aren’t meant to go through any of this alone.” She also mentioned that it’s even good of “you’re trying to conceive.” According to the BiP star, women “connect, share advice, and find reassurance.” Recommending it as a good support App, she tagged @peanut. According to the website, the App ranked as one of the best in 2017.

Other reality TV stars who follow the App’s Instagram

Possibly, Audrey Roloff of TLC and Pumpkin from WEtv’s Mama June also use it as they follow the App’s Instagram account. Actually, in the various posts on the App’s Instagram page, a lot of support comes out. Like this comment: “2 years of negative tests, a miscarriage and now I finally made it past the first trimester 🤞 keep trying ladies. It can and will happen ❤️❤️.”
