Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella Discuss Wedding Plans
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev were planning their dream wedding. And then the Coronavirus pandemic hit. Like so many other couples, the pair are rethinking their wedding plans.
Nikki And Artem’s Plans May Be On Hold, But They’re Still Pressing Onward
“I want to make sure the world is in such a clear space,” Nikki said during an interview earlier this year. “The day I get married, I just want a massive party. I want a bash. I want everything I’ve dreamed of.”
“At the end of the day, it’s a celebration and not just a thing you attend for the sake of attending,” Artem echoed similar sentiments. “And both of us feel the same way about that. Once we can figure out what that would look like, it’s going to start moving quickly.”
They’re still figuring some things out, but right now it seems like holding it in another location is the right choice.
“We’re actually moving [the wedding] from L.A. to somewhere else … not sure if I am allowed to say where yet, but there’s definitely plans,” Artem, told Access Hollywood. “The only thing we know that we want to make sure is that we don’t have to be wearing masks during the wedding.”
Nikki wants their son, Matteo, to be involved in the wedding. At this rate, she says he may be walking by the time the wedding actually happens.
Artem Is Still Competing On Dancing With The Stars
In any case, the couple will definitely have to wait until Dancing With The Stars is finished. Artem and his partner Kaitlyn Bristowe currently top the leader board. Many fans think they will win it all this year. It would be a first for Artem, and he’s very happy to be back on the dance floor. Meanwhile, Nikki and Matteo cheer him on from home.
Artem definitely misses his family, but they fully support him.

It doesn’t seem like Nikki and Artem have set a date yet. After all, they may be waiting until the Coronavirus situation settles down a little bit. Even if they don’t have it in Los Angeles, some of their close friends and family members will likely be uncomfortable with traveling.
