Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth and her sister-in-law Lauren recently spent the day at a peach orchard together. The two women took their young kids along for the outing. This includes Joy’s kids, Gideon, 2, and Evelyn, 2 months, and Lauren’s daughter, Bella, who’s almost one year old.
The moms and kids appeared to enjoy themselves. But, not everyone was happy with the sisters’ decision to hang out or spend time out in public. After all, the coronavirus pandemic is still an issue in the United States. Case numbers appear to be increasing in many places as well.
So, some Counting On fans took to the comments section of Joy’s post to voice their opinions. One Instagram user writes, “Does Covid not exist?” A couple of other comments like this can be found in Joy’s comments section on her recent post. Fans have previously gotten upset with the Duggar family, as they do not appear to be following social-distancing and stay-at-home orders.
Of course, plenty of fans came to Joy and Lauren’s defense. They mention that the family members are outdoors in the fresh air. They also say that others need to let Joy and Lauren make their own decisions for their families. Plus, Duggar fans are gushing over the sweet kids in the beautiful pictures.
Was Lauren Duggar avoiding criticism by not posting?
Fans noticed that Joy shared photos of the outing, while Lauren did not. Some think that Lauren didn’t share any pictures because she could be hiding a pregnancy. But, it’s also possible that she isn’t posting any pictures because she doesn’t want to see all of the criticism.
As fans know, critics and fans alike send plenty of negative comments to the members of the Duggar family. Sometimes, family members clap back though. This time, Joy and Lauren have yet to say anything to the haters on the most recent post.
Notably, Lauren hasn’t been very active on social media, especially considering she used to share posts regularly. So, she might not have posted about the outing for other reasons. Perhaps she is taking a social media break to focus on her family or something else in her life. Maybe it doesn’t mean anything that she didn’t post about the peach orchard outing.
