OutDaughtered: Adam Busby - Danielle Busby

OutDaughtered star Adam Busby often posts inspirational messages to Instagram these days. Not long ago he shared about coping with fear. And now, he talked about negativity and division. TLC fans know that Adam’s a mental health advocate and a Christian. So, many of them pay attention to his messages.

OutDaughtered – Adam shares about negativity

We reported on October 2 that Adam reached out and talked of fear. Possibly due to his own experience with postnatal depression, he speaks from a place inside his heart. So, fans listen. And, these days his profile on Instagram notes he became a mental health advocate. Much like Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best, more often, he posts up things that made people stop and think. And, judging by the responses, fans feel very grateful for his inspirational thoughts.

At the moment, everyone feels the division in the USA keenly. And, they worry about the coronavirus. In a clever analogy, the OutDaughtered dad turned a saying about consumerism into something with more meaning than “you are what you eat.” Adam put a twist on it by suggesting that what you consume via relationships, the news, and social media, is also something to watch.

Division in the USA

You don’t need to watch the news to know that politics divide America. And, that extends to interpretations about masks, social distancing, and varying degrees of COVID-19 restrictions. And, as many fans noted, these issues even impact on members of families and work colleagues. So, many fans related to his post on Thursday night, October 15. He shared a card that read, “Don’t let what you are consuming, consume you.”

But then, in his caption, the OutDaugtered dad wrote, “It’s a toxic time that we are living in. So much negativity and division out there right now. I keep thinking of the analogy of garbage in, garbage out. Don’t forget to take a step back and do something that fills your JOY tank back up today. You owe it to yourself and the people around you.” Plus, he used the hashtag, “#letschangethenarrative.”

Fans discuss division and negativity

In the comments of his post, many TLC fans thanked Adam for reminding them about negativity. And, a lot of people poured out their hearts about the way these two things impact on their lives. One fan wrote about how they feel it very strongly as they go about their day at work. And, even some of their own family clash with them these days. So, she takes it home and ends up taking it out on her husband. So, they “hope the holiday season” lightens up everyone.

A very good suggestion on how to cope is “be the example of positivity goes a lot longer way [than] to spread negativity & darkness, the fan added. Then, another follower of the OutDaughtered dad noted, ” Absolutely! I couldn’t agree more. Very well said. Thank you for being so positive.”
