Reminder: The New Season Of ‘The Bachelorette’ Won’t Air Mondays
Fans of ABC’s Bachelor Nation franchises are used to a Monday timeslot. However, the network announced earlier this year that The Bachelorette is temporarily switching days. But it seems fans either missed the memo or forgot in the long wait for Season 16.
Dancing With The Stars Takes Monday Time Slot
The Bachelorette and Dancing With The Stars are two of ABC’s Monday night staples. As Bachelor Nation fans know, Bachelor Nation shows rarely air this late in the TV season. However, due to the quarantine, The Bachelorette couldn’t film during the summer. In fact, it almost didn’t get to film at all.
While still serious, the pandemic lessened enough for television productions to resume filming with safety precautions. But with a new seasons of both DWTS and The Bachelorette starting at the same time, the network had to choose. They chose to keep DWTS in the usual Monday time slot and move The Bachelorette to Tuesdays.
But in recent social media posts, fans find themselves confused about when the new season begins. It didn’t help that the Bachelor Nation show may have been postponed due to the NBA playoffs. However, that is no longer a concern after the Lakers won the championship on Sunday, October 11.
What Do We Know About Clare Crawley’s Season of The Bachelorette?
The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison once again promises fans the “most explosive season EVER.” While the show has yet to confirm, rumors abound that Clare Crawley leaves the show early after finding her match. Reportedly, Tayshia Adams then becomes The Bachelorette, all in the same season!
The ABC show originally had an entire different cast of men for Clare. But due to the pandemic, they took a closer look at casting. If the rumors are true, then something good came out of the pandemic for Clare Crawley.
While Clare may get her happy ending, The Bachelorette fans will miss out on some of the show’s staples. Like the trip to a romantic destination. Due to travel restrictions, the show will stay firmly planted in California.
When Does The Bachelorette Premiere?
Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette will premiere on Tuesday, October 13. It will continue airing on Tuesday nights throughout the season.
Eager fans can get a sneak peek at the premiere episode, though. Clare Crawley took to Instagram to share a treat with fans: the first two minutes of the season premiere will air during DWTS.
