The Covid pandemic has been horrific for most people. But, in The Bachelorette Clare Crawley’s case, it may have worked out for the best. Her season will premiere October 13. And, she actually benefited from the pandemic putting a pause on filming. The quarantine and pause allowed producers a chance to cast more appropriate men for Clare. She knows what she wants and what she was looking for before ever accepting the lead. Now, if rumors are true, she may have found her forever love.

Clare’s men were cast more specifically for her

People shared all about what Clare had to say about the men who were cast for her upcoming season of The Bachelorette. When the show announced filming couldn’t start in March, it was stressful at first. However, it worked out for the best. Clare said, “There were definitely a lot of emotions, It was stressful. But there were also honestly so many pros to it getting shut down.”

She continued on explaining the pause in filming allowed producers to find men who would be good for her and vice versa. Clare said, “Producers were able to recast some of the guys and get some that were more appropriate for what I was looking for. I wanted a guy who was genuinely there for me. There was a lot of talk about, ‘Oh, I’m the older Bachelorette, are these guys too young?’ But it was also about: am I too old for them? It went both ways. So we were able to hone in on what everybody was looking for.”

She felt a lot of gratitude

Clare says waiting for long resulted in more nerves but also gratitude. She said, “It was definitely a long anticipation for the first night.” She continued, “To see the men standing in a room and know that most of them have the same interests and goals as I do, it really was magical. They were all amazing. I could feel it in my bones!”

She couldn’t wait for the physical parts of her new relationships. Clare said, “Being a single woman during the pandemic, I spent months alone with my dog. There was no physical touch, no contact and no face to face. So just being able to hug on somebody and love on somebody was so amazing. There was more of an appreciation. And goosebumps!”

Clare’s dogs were with her throughout filming

One of the most important things to Clare is her dogs. And, being that there was no traveling this season and they all stayed exclusively at one resort, they went with her. Clare said, “Perks of filming in one location! These two babies never left my side through all of the days in isolation when I was alone prior to filming. They give me happiness, peace, and unconditional love.”

She went on to say, “What a gift it was when @chrisharrison and the producers from the @bacheloretteABC called letting me know that because we were glued to each other during quarantine, they were not going to let them leave my side during filming. It was the greatest gift ever.”

This would give whoever she chose a chance to meet them. Now, it’s finally time to watch her short, but most likely dramatic season unfold. And, come Tuesday night, everyone can judge if these were definitely the right men selected for Clare.

Stay tuned for more updates!
