’90 Day Fiance’ Tell-All: Angela Opens Up About Getting Weight Loss Surgery
Angela Deem has made a major life-changing decision. Monday night’s final episode of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Tell-All aired on Monday night. During the episode, Angela, 54, opened up about planning weight loss surgery. To say Michael, 32, was not impressed would be an understatement.

It turns out Angela didn’t want to release the news of her weight loss surgery before she had spoken to Michael first. However, Shaun brought up the subject, and Angela had no way of avoiding it. As soon as she mentioned what she was having done, Michael immediately yelled, “No, no, no.” However, his wife said he couldn’t change her mind about what she has chosen to do.
Explaining more about the surgery, she said, “After the third month, I’ll drop about a 100 and something pounds,” she said. “Everything will be reconstructed, my skin surgery … they’re doing … I’m gonna have it all done.” Michael was obviously horrified at the talk of this surgery. He said, “She knows I don’t like anything surgery,” adding, “Like, no doing all this artificial stuff. I don’t like it.”
Angela went on to say the risks were worth it, as she has problems breathing due to her weight. Also, she wants to feel better about herself, no matter what Michael thinks. Deem went on to say she has been beautiful all her life, but she just had a weight problem. “You gotta feel sexy to be sexy. Right?” Angela said she never likes to feel fat.
This didn’t stop Michael from complaining, “I don’t complain about your body, you know this,” he said. “I didn’t complain.” He stressed, “I like big things.” He continued, saying, “I like you the way you are. I like big things. You know this.”

At the moment, Angela is in Georgia, while Michael is living in Nigeria waiting for his visa to be approved. As noted by ET, he said if he was there with her, he wouldn’t let her go through with the surgery. However, Angela said unless he finds a way to get to America in the next couple of weeks, there is no way he can stop her.
At this stage, fellow 90 Day Fiance cast member Larissa weighed in, especially with her experience after multiple plastic surgery procedures. Larissa said to Angela, “You’re gonna look one million bucks,” adding, “But, you can die.” Even Colt’s mom, Debbie chimed it to say it was dangerous. Of course, Lima has a point, but no doubt, with Angela lined up for two more TLC spinoffs, she wants to look good.
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 5 is officially over. However, fans can look forward to HEA Strikes Back which will air on Mondays at 8:00 pm ET on TLC.
