On Tuesday, The Grand Tour fans thought Alexa revealed a “Madagascar” date, but instead, they got some other good news. Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May have completed filming their Scotland episode.

What is the latest news on the former Top Gear trio?

The Grand Tour Trio Are Back Home

On Tuesday, Jeremy Clarkson surprised fans following his Instagram. First, he shared a photo a plane propeller. Next, 45-minutes later, Clarkson shared a selfie from inside the plane. His caption read “Air Wilman.” He was referring to The Grand Tour producer, Andy Wilman.

The smallish prop plane was rather crowded, with two seats on either side of the aisle. Clarkson, and Hammond were wearing blue masks, and in the row behind them was their famed producer.

It didn’t take much digging to learn that The Grand Tour Scotland Episode has completed filming. Where did Hammond, May and Clarkson visit?

Scotland Episode Completed

Where in Scotland did they film? The Grand Tour cars and cameras were in the Inverness area. Later, they filmed near the Isle of Skye. The team were driving ’70s cars, and towing caravans. This coronavirus pandemic-friendly adventure will certainly be scenic. And, it sounds like there were a lot of laughs.

On Monday, Jeremy Clarkson posted his “Covid Breakfast.” He posted on Twitter his inability to cut into some Scottish ham. You can hear James May bursting out in laughter. He went through several plastic forks trying, but thankfully, Tuesday morning, he was given some metal utensils. Most importantly, he was in good humor and the footage looks very funny.

Did Alexa Reveal The Grand Tour ‘Madagascar’ Release Date?

The Grand Tour had other big news. According to Grand Tour Nation, Alexa revealed that the freakishly long-awaited “Madagascar” episode would drop on December 11. On Tuesday, the publication gleefully shared that Amazon’s iconic home device was sharing that particular date when asked when the episode would air on Amazon Prime. This makes a lot of sense, since “Seamen” was released on December 13, 2019. That was the first episode of the Covid-delayed Season 4.

Unfortunately, they later added a new update. “It has been confirmed that The Grand Tour’s next episode will not be released on December 11th as questioned in the following article. We will update you as soon as we know more.”

So, another kerfuffle, just like the IMDb September 4 listing of the “Madagascar” episode. Of course, IMDb is Amazon’s database. After much excited hoopla, the information was removed. Someone from Amazon said that there was a misunderstanding. Right now, it seems that within Amazon, there is a lot of misunderstanding. But, it is clear that there is no misunderstanding that fans are getting impatient.

Right now, fans can only hope that Amazon will announce the “Madagascar” date soon. And they can hope that perhaps the Scottish episode will air not long after.
