If you’ve been on social media in the last few days, you may have seen rumors of Erika Jayne’s status on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The rumors range from her getting a demotion or leaving entirely after turning down a ‘Friend of’ role.
Inside the rumors swirling about Erika Jayne’s future on RHOBH. Where did the rumors come from? Has Erika responded?
Why Do Fans Think Erika Jayne Won’t Be Returning to RHOBH?
The questions surrounding Erika’s status on RHOBH is a lesson in how rumors circulate on social media. One rumor turns into the next. It all began when one eagle-eyed fan took note that Erika took down all mention of RHOBH in her social media profiles.
In many cases, that is the first hint that a reality star is leaving a show. However, many fans pointed out that Erika did the same thing prior to Season 10, too. Despite the flimsy evidence, the rumor grew as it was retweeted and shared on Twitter.
One fan theorized that Erika was offered a reduced role and turned it down. That’s why RHOC’s OG Vicki Gunvalson left the show after Season 14.
Many fans felt that Erika’s “mean girl” behavior during Season 10 could be behind her alleged exit from the Bravo show. One fan on social media enjoys the idea of a demotion due to Erika’s bad behavior. The fan used the green screen footage of Denise Richards to troll Erika about the rumors.
Has Erika Spoken Out About the Rumors?
Bravo has yet to officially respond to the rumors. However, sources tell Us Weekly that Erika will return to RHOBh for Season 11. In fact, the insider says filming is underway, “The women are flying to NYC to film all week.”
The outlet notes that Erika seemingly responded to the rumors, too. She replied to the rumors with a “series of laughing face emojis.” The exchange happened in the comment section of a fan’s social media page.
There WILL Be Some RHOBH Shake-Ups
Erika Jayne’s role on RHOBH’s Season 11 isn’t the only rumor going around on the internet. In light of the news that two diamonds are up for grabs, fans are going wild with speculation over who will join the show.
Since Season 10 wrapped up, both Denise Richards and Teddi Mellencamp made departure announcements. Denise chose to leave, while Teddi was fired. Some of the names being thrown about to replace the two include Caitlyn Jenner, Ali Landry and Kathy Hilton.
Bravo has yet to announce when RHOBH will return, but likely in 2021. The Real Housewives of Orange County is taking over RHOBH’s time slot starting October 14. A new franchise, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, premieres on Bravo in November.
