They were supposed to be married this year, but like many couples they had to postpone their nuptials. Former Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are still going strong. They can’t wait to tie the knot in 2021. The coronavirus pandemic has caused a lot of havoc on events, including their wedding. Now, they are talking about the good and the bad of rescheduling their big day.

JoJo and Jordan rescheduled their wedding

US Weekly shared all about JoJo and Jordan’s struggles and joys that go along with replanning their wedding. JoJo said, “We had almost everything in place. We know that we’re going to have to sort of shift some things or maybe do some re-selections. Thankfully, our vendors have been incredible. So we were able to keep the same vendors. But with the wedding being postponed almost an entire year, you know, there might be new things that come out, new colors, different types of furniture. So in my mind, this is a whole process again, just to confirm that we still love everything that we chose months and months ago.”

Jordan spoke up and said it was all JoJo doing the process over again. He said, “She sees new shiny objects on Instagram and on social media all the time. She’s like, ‘Oh, my God, this is beautiful.’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, but I thought we already planned that. We picked that one already.’ You know, the delaying is blessing and a curse.”

And, while they have discussed eloping, it won’t happen. They both agree their wedding is a special event and they’ve waited a long time for it.

Their registry

If they had been able to wed in 2020, it would have been June 13. Now, they have chosen a new date almost an entire year away. In the meantime, they are still planning and getting their registry in place. In fact, they have actually partnered up with The Knot.

JoJo loves The Knot. She said, “The platform is so seamless, it’s so easy. It has everything that we would have wanted, it’s like a one-stop shop. And we also were able to do more than just retail products — we have cash funds, we have a charitable contribution. … It honestly makes things so much easier, not only for us but I also think for the guests.”

So what are some things they are asking for? JoJo and Jordan both agree a toaster oven is a must. She says she cooks almost every meal in one. Jordan added they used one a lot during quarantine.

They also want the Cadillac of espresso machines. Jordan said, “I want, like, a Cadillac espresso machine. I want something I can, like, make some real coffee because that’s something I drink way too much every single day. And I’ve slowly brought JoJo over to the dark side, and she needs her coffee every day as well.”
