The Masked Singer Season 4 just kicked off, but fans already think they know who is behind the Baby Alien costume. What makes that even more impressive is that Baby Alien hasn’t even performed yet.
It’s long been a favorite pastime of viewers to try and pinpoint who is who as fast as they can. The hints for one of the weirder characters on the reality television program have been vague. Despite that, there are plenty of people offering up guesses.
Katie Dupere of Men’s Health reported quite a few fans think the “mask” is a dead giveaway. Instead of the more traditional mask, Baby Alien is a puppet. There are a handful of people that have the ability to make the cute little plushy move the way it does.
Indeed that’s not the only hint that has people pinpointing a few performers. Clues offered up by The Masked Singer producers alluded to the performer just getting started in music.
Put the two biggest clues together, and several followers on Instagram decided it’s well-known comedy puppeteer Jeff Dunham. After one fan said they were “calling it now” with Dunham, several others agreed. Another said if its not Dunham, Terry Fator from America’s Got Talent fame.
Others think it is a ventriloquist from AGT; it’s not Fator. Instead, their money is on Darcy Lynne. The big question now is just how people are going to narrow down the field from those three.
One question unanswered from Baby Alien’s intro package
It’s not a massive leap to go from a puppet on The Masked Singer to a puppeteer or ventriloquist. Not being a singer by trade certainly fits that bill nicely. There is, however, another clue that hasn’t clicked just yet.
As part of the character’s intro package, the Baby Alien tells viewers to look into the night sky. When the camera pans up, we see a number five. So far, that hasn’t narrowed down who could be behind the puppet.
Lynne could be the most obvious answer from that clue, as she’s known to work almost exclusively with five puppets. Dunham has a cast of more than that, but he’s been seen on stage more than once with exactly five characters near him.
‘The Masked Singer’ darkhorse candidate
There is at least one guess that stands out from the rest. It’s not because the guess is better or makes more sense than the others. In fact, it’s easily the longshot. Some fans have taken clues from the beginning of Baby Alien’s welcome package. Viewers say the “it’s me Baby Alien” is very similar to Scott Disick of Keeping Up With The Kardashians fame. They claim the tagline ties back to his famous “It’s me, Todd Kraines” prank on Kris Jenner.
