Fans of OutDaughtered are itching for a new season with some new episodes and Adam Busby finally offered an update. Unfortunately, it isn’t really the update we were hoping for. But, some update on a new season of OutDaughtered is better than nothing right? Did you miss what Adam Busby had to say about new episodes of the TLC series? Don’t worry and keep reading because we’ve got the scoop.

New episodes of OutDaughtered are coming, but Adam Busby’s update isn’t ideal.

OutDaughtered fans have been a little out of sorts since the last season of the TLC series aired. After all, it was incredibly short. But, it wasn’t TLC’s fault the season was so short. Nor was it the fault of the Busby family. The world shut down because of the pandemic. And, it wasn’t safe for filming to continue.

With OutDaughtered being a reality TV show and the girls continuing to grow… It didn’t make sense for TLC to pause in the middle of production until things returned to normal. Instead, it made sense for them to edit and finalize what content they did have. And, air a very short season. Sure, fans were not happy about it. But, some episodes are better than no episodes, right?

Now, we know the Busby family has resumed filming a new season of the reality TV series. Adam Busby shared a video clip on his Instagram Stories a while back. The clip showed all of the cameras in the Busby bus. And, Adam confirmed they would return for another season. We’ve also see a few other photos of filming in progress on Instagram.

But, there hasn’t been much chatter about filming recently. And, fans can’t help but wonder if Hurricane Laura followed by the tropical storm put a wrench in the plan to move forward with filming. So, fans started taking to Instagram to ask Adam. Ask him if he had an update on the new season and new episodes of OutDaughtered.

And, as anyone who follows him on Instagram knows, Adam is VERY responsive. So, it wasn’t too surprising to see him to respond to a question about what was going on with the series.

So, what is going on with the TLC series?

Now, if you came into this article hoping for some sort of premiere date for the new season of OutDaughtered… You are going to be disappointed. There isn’t one. And, this isn’t because it isn’t happening. This is just because TLC isn’t even in a place to offer a premiere date just yet. It doesn’t sound like they’ve filmed enough content to produce enough episodes to have anything planned out. And, that’s more or less what Adam Busby said in his update about the TLC series to his Instagram followers.

Turns out, Adam and Danielle Busby decided to take a break from filming. The girls have all just started school recently. And, the Busby parents thought filming while starting school would be too much for the girls. So, they wanted them to focus on school without having to worry about coming home to cameras. As much as fans want a new season of OutDaughtered, this is an update we can certainly understand. After all, fans have always been concerned that the cameras might be invasive to the quints. And, to their older sister Blayke.

Fortunately, Adam has previously reassured fans he and Danielle do what they can to prevent the cameras and filming from being invasive. For starters, they have scheduled filming time. And, they don’t force the girls to film if they don’t want to. This is why it is extremely common to see photos and videos on their social media featuring just some of their girls. Fixing six girls into a frame all the time doesn’t really work. And, there are times when some of them just don’t feel like filming. And, Danielle and Adam Busby respect their girls enough to give them that freedom. Even if some of their fans don’t agree with giving such young girls so much freedom.

So, are you bummed out it is going to be a while longer before we see new episodes of the TLC series? Or, do you respect Adam Busby giving the girls a break from filming? Sound off in the comments.
