’90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?’ Tell-All: No Sign Of Paul And Karine Over Legal Issues

Paul and Karine Staehle of 90 Day Fiance

Sunday, September 27 saw the first, two-hour episode of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Tell-All. While most of the cast members will be present on the Tell-All, Paul and Karine Staehler will not be on the show. In a statement at the beginning of the episode, host Shaun Robinson addressed the issue. She said, “Unfortunately, Paul and Karine are not able to join us but we do wish them the best and hope they’re doing well.”

Why were Paul and Karine not on the 90 Day Fiance Tell-All?

Shaun didn’t give any details as to why Paul, 37, and Karine, 24 were not on the show. However, fans have been following the estranged couple’s off-screen, real-life drama. This is likely why the couple was unable to participate.

Paul and Karine are apart right now, following a huge fight in July. In a since-deleted Instagram Live post with a video, Paul explained the fight came after he checked Karine’s phone. He noted she was communicating with a Brazilian lawyer relating to “child support and divorce.” The fight was so bad, the police had to be called twice that same evening. Following this, both parties filed restraining orders against the other.

Karine leaves home with little Pierre

After the incident, Karine left the home, taking their 18-month-old son Pierre with her. At first, Paul claimed Karine was missing. However, she later confirmed she was not missing in a statement shared on Instagram. She pointed out that she needed to be rescued from an environment that was no longer healthy for the family.

In a court hearing on August 11, both Paul and Karine were granted restraining orders against each other, with Pierre protected under both orders. While both parties have temporary custody of Pierre, he is currently living with Karine. The next hearing is in December when a judge will determine which parent will have legal and physical custody of their son.

Paul travels to Brazil

Paul traveled to Brazil a couple of weeks after the court hearing. Despite his estrangement from Karine, he is currently spending time with her family. As noted by In Touch, fans accused him of “chasing” his wife to Brazil. Paul responded on Instagram Stories, saying, “For everyone thinking I am chasing Karine in Brazil: Karine is in Indiana [in the United States].” He said he came there alone to clean and organize their Brazilian home. Paul added that he needs the home to be sanitary and baby-safe.  The TLC reality star said he has been keeping busy since Karine left. He finished cleaning and organizing their American home and is now doing the same in Brazil.
