‘Bachelor’ Alum Lesley Murphy Expecting First Child With Alex Kavanagh
Bachelor alum Lesley Murphy is having a great 2020. She got engaged to Alex Kavanagh in February 2020. Now, months later she announced they are expecting their first child. Her announcement to the world shows so much love and is completely adorable.
Lesley and Alex are going to be parents
Lesley went to Instagram to share the big news with her many followers. She posted a black and white video of her and Alex dancing in the kitchen. They danced to “Be My Baby” by The Ronettes. They danced around looking so in love. Then, Alex got down and kissed Lesley’s growing baby bump.

The video was perfect. These two have shared many photos and videos of them laughing, kissing and dancing in the kitchen.
Other alums jumped in immediately to share their congrats. Tenley Molzahn, who just became a mother herself, was one of the first to congratulate her. She said, “Oh my goodness, oh my goodness! 😭💕 congratulations- this is the best news!!!!! The best adventure yet!!” Many others, including, Lauren Zima and Catherine Giudici Lowe also offered their congrats.

Their relationship
Lesley and Alex dated for 18 months before he popped the question. He is a professional drone pilot from Australia. These two are adorable and living their best life. They have traveled to more than 25 countries together.
They were planning to get married October 10, 2020. That date had to be canceled due to the pandemic. They have not announced a new date, but they are looking at venues. Lesley shared a photo from Telluride, Colorado saying they must have spectacular views for their big day. She has shared positive messages for other brides of 2020 that may be struggling.
Their day will come. Now, the question is, will they get married before their new miracle arrives? Or, will they wait until after she gives birth and include their son or daughter in their special day?
Lesley is known in Bachelor Nation from her time on Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor. She made it to the top five. Then, she reappeared on Winter Games and
Bachelor in Paradise. She actually became involved with Dean Unglert following Winter Games, but as everyone knows, that didn’t work out.
