Why ‘Love Island’ Fans Think Moira Is Desperate To Stay In The Villa
Love Island fans are not happy with Moira Tumas. They claim she’s playing the game. Fans slammed the islander for her indecisions. Moira was into James, then she was into Calvin, and then Connor. For a brief time, she was into Bennett and now she’s into Calvin again.
It’s hard to keep up with her love life. As a result, fans are getting sick of Moira. They’re baffled as to why the viewers keep saving her. And now they think she’s pretending to show interest in Calvin so she can stay in the villa.
Moira confuses Calvin with her feelings
Moira Tumas is known for going back-and-forth between men on Love Island. Her actions have fans questioning her true intentions. In a previous episode, Moira expressed an interest in Bennett Snipes. She was tongue-tied whenever she was around him.
Then after the steamy heart rate challenge, Moira had a renewed interest in her partner Calvin Cobb. Moira and Calvin coupled up before the infamous Casa Amor episodes, but they decided to pursue other interests. Calvin pursued a coupling with Sher Suarez, while Moira wanted to get to know Aaron Owen. But she lost interest in Aaron and started looking at Connor Trott differently.
However, Connor was not over Mackenzie Dipman, who left the villa last week. Moira found herself wondering what to do before the recoupling. She decided to recouple up with Calvin and let Connor go to find his love. But shortly after their recoupling, Moira was interested in Bennett.
Calvin allowed her to explore her feelings. But when the two new girls entered the villa and set their sights on Calvin, Moira immediately got jealous. She saw Calvin in a new light. Later that night, she jumped into bed with Calvin and kissed him passionately.
Moira ends up confusing both Calvin and the fans. Some of them wonder about Moira’s intentions. They think she’s only on the show to play the game to the very end. As everyone knows, the price is a cash prize of $100,000.
Love Island fans call out Moira
The next morning, Calvin says he’s confused about Moira’s feelings for him. He found it interesting that she started showing interest in him again as soon as the new girls entered the villa. Love Island fans noticed as well. They think she’s playing the game to secure her spot in the villa. Here are just some of the comments:
- “The way i hate moira with a passionnnn she rlly said she likes calvin again CAUSE OF THE COMPETITION [sic].”
- “Not Moira now trying to play Calvin LMAO.”
- “Atp moira don’t know what she wants. She wanted bennett one minute and calvin the next. I’m convinced she just wanna stay on the show @loveislandusa. [sic]”
- “Moira trying to pretend that she likes Calvin now to be safe. So transparent. Also, how are these people not figure out the structure of the show by now? It’s always new boys, then new girls, and repeat. Going to need [a] better strategy for that 100K.”
When Moira coupled with Calvin and Connor, she remained safe on the show. At the beginning of the show, she made it clear that she was ready for marriage. But she seems unclear about her feelings. Instead of finding love, she hops from guy to guy, barely making it past the first kiss.
Love Island airs Wednesday night, September 23 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
