‘Vanderpump Rules’ Baby Boom! Brittany Cartwright Expecting First Child!
Vanderpump Rules: The Next Generation is getting another member! Days after Lala Kent revealed the gender of her baby, Brittany Cartwright shares some happy news of her own. She’s pregnant, too!
Brittany is expecting her first child with her husband of one year, Jax Taylor. The couple wed in June of 2019, as fans saw play out during Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules.
Brittany Cartwright Shares Sonogram Pics, Due Date
On Monday, September 21, Jax and Brittany took to their respective Instagrams to share their baby news. The couple shared the same photos on their Instagram feeds, with very different captions.
In the photos, they sit on stairs decorated with mini-pumpkins. Jax sits behind Brittany, cradling her baby bump. In a floral dress, Brittany beams and holds an ultrasound of their baby toward the camera.
Brittany captioned the photo, “Mom & Dad. The love of our lives is coming soon.”

Jax, however, took a more direct approach. “Sooooo,……..I am gonna be Dad..💟👶🏼,” he wrote.
The comments were flooded with well wishes from fans and Pump Rules co-stars. Stassi Schroeder, who announced her pregnancy back in June, wrote on Brittany’s post that “Life couldn’t get much better!!!!!!”
Over the weekend, Stassi shared a photo to her IG Stories of her and Brittany getting pumpkin spice lattes after Lala Kent’s gender reveal party. Brittany was wearing a black dress with a grey sweater that hid her growing baby bump.
Pump Rules Star Battling Morning Sickness
The Pump Rules couple spoke exclusively to People about their impending arrival. The outlet reports that Brittany is due in April 2021. Stassi is due in January. Brittany reveals that the couple had been trying for “around five months.”
However, she admits that she is fighting “loads of morning sickness,” as well as battling pregnancy fatigue. As for the typical pregnancy cravings, she says she hasn’t had any yet, though all food tastes “yummy” right now.
Did Brittany Just Reveal Lala Kent’s Due Date?
During her interview with People, Brittany may have let Lala Kent’s due date slip. Lala announced her pregnancy in early September. She held a gender reveal party over the weekend. She is expecting a GIRL with fiance Randall Emmett. However, she has been mum about the due date.
Brittany is 11-weeks along and will find out the gender on Sunday, September 27, during a “small gender reveal.” She didn’t give any more details about the reveal. Lala and Randall had a skydiver come down from the sky with a pink parachute. Stassi’s gender reveal was done quietly at home with her fiance Beau Clark.
In her excitement for being pregnant at the same time as Lala, Brittany revealed that their respective due dates are “only eight days apart.” That means Lala is also due around April of 2021.
As for baby names, Brittany says that she and Jax have one picked out already if it’s a girl. But they are still making a list of possible boy names.
Brittany is often the center of pregnancy rumors. But things have been quiet on that front lately. So, many fans did not expect a baby announcement from Jax and Brittany right now!
Bravo has yet to announce if Vanderpump Rules will return for Season 9. If it does, it will be without Stassi, as she was let go by the network days before her pregnancy announcement in June.
