Kaitlyn Bristowe Honors ‘DWTS’ Dance Partner Artem Chigvintsev
So far so good for Kaitlyn Bristowe on Dancing With the Stars. She got her dream partner Artem Chigvintsev and great scores for week one. The former Bachelorette is living the dream. And, she is also giving credit where credit is due.
Kaitlyn praises Artem
In a recent Instagram post, Kaitlyn pays tribute to her amazing dance partner. She shared a photo of the two of them in the costumes they wore for premiere night. Kaitlyn said, “Let me share what I’ve learned about Artem in the last couple of weeks. He’s never done ballet but he can pirouette like a mother f*cker, he LOVES his baby and fiancé so so much that his happiness RADIATES in the studio, he’s pretty funny, he’s a great cook, loves his motorcycles, builds stuff, he quotes wedding crashers, he judges me for drinking bad coffee, and he is extremely patient.”
That isn’t all the former Bachelorette had to say about her dance partner. She continued on in her post saying, “I’ve also learned that the other pro dancers call him velvet because his moves are so smooth. He’s pretty nit picky in the studio which I love because I’m a perfectionist. So I’ve come up with the perfect nickname. Let me introduce you to the #VelvetHammer. Guy is smooth but LAYS DOWN THE LAW. Are we into this nick name 😂 ?”

What will they dance to for week two?
And, she also announced she and Artem will be dancing to the Fox Trot for their next dance. They will be dancing to “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack. She also posted that they are dancing for Artem’s newborn son.
Fun fact that Kaitlyn was actually supposed to dance with Artem five years ago. However, when her Bachelorette contract made that impossible at the time, she lost her chance. Now, she is getting that chance again. Let’s hope these two can make magic on the dance floor. Could Kaitlyn be the second Bachelorette in a row to take home the mirrorball trophy?
Nikki Bella is also happy her man is back on the dance floor. They welcomes son, Matteo, on July 31. It wasn’t long before he had to leave Nikki and Matteo to start practicing and quarantining for Dancing With the Stars.
