The trailer for Below Deck Season 8 is finally here. At first, everything was up in the air with the show due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But it looks like the yacht is back at sea once again. There are a few familiar faces, which is much needed.

Earlier this year, Kate Chastain announced her departure from the series. Kate was part of the OG series since Season 2. While most fans will miss her, others are looking forward to see who will replace her. And it appears that the new season of the Bravo series will be as dramatic as ever.

Who’s returning to Below Deck Season 8?

Captain Lee Rosbach will make his rightful return as captain. He’s looking forward to getting back at sea.

“It’s been years since I’ve been in the Caribbean, and I missed the hell out of it,” Captain Lee Rosbach says in the trailer released by Entertainment Tonight. “White sandy beaches, crystal blue water? It’s like putting on your favorite pair of blue jeans. It’s like going home again.”

Captain Lee isn’t the only one to make his return. Bosun Eddie Lucas is back as well. He took a brief break from yachting after Season 3. And for the first time, Below Deck will have a new chief stew. Francesca Rubi will replace Kate Chastain. She admits that she’s a bit of a perfectionist.

“No watermarks, anywhere. All the time,” Francesca says in the teaser. “I do take my job a little too seriously sometimes.”

It’s unclear whether she has a love for tablescapes. Season 8 will have its sure of colorful and crazy guests. Things get so bad that Captain Lee will have to kick out a guest for their bad behavior. The new season includes some wild twists, including on-deck accidents and crew firings.

Season 8 will also sail right into the coronavirus pandemic. This is a first for the Below Deck series. The crew will wonder if their charters will be cut short as “the f***ing world [goes] to hell in a f***ing handbasket,” Captain Lee says.

Of course, there are plenty of new faces

As with all Below Deck shows, there will be a crew shakeup. Stews Elizabeth Frankini and Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters will take care of matters in the interior. Rachel Hargrove will also serve as the new chef on the yacht.

But there’s one new face that’s not included in the trailer. Shane Coopersmith is described as a “surfer turned environmentalist.” He wants to get into yachting, but he finds himself struggling. It might be the person Captain Lee is talking about when he complains about someone who’s just swimming instead of working.

This season will be packed with drama and entertainment, as with previous seasons. There looks to be a boatmance and misbehaving charter guests. Captain Lee also reminds his crew members: “There’s no crying in yachting.”

Below Deck Season 8 returns Monday, November 2 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
