Counting On fans often praise Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar for how they’ve raised their kids. Fans think that their 19 children are amazing and that they have kind hearts. In addition to loving Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids, fans also adore the kids’ spouses. Now, Austin Forsyth just gave fans another reason to love him.
Austin Forsyth shares about helping the community
Austin is married to Joy Duggar. The couple shares two kids, Gideon, 2, and Evelyn, almost one month. In addition to staying busy with construction work, Austin is sharing about how he volunteers to help out in the community.
In a new Instagram post, Austin shares a few photos of himself and Gideon at a fire station. The father-son duo stands beside some of the trucks for the photos.
In his caption, Austin writes, “I have been a member of our volunteer fire department for the past 8 years and it has taught me so many life skills!”
Then, Austin continues, “I will definitely encourage our kids to consider serving their community in the same capacity.”
It’s unclear why Austin decided to share about this publicly now. It could be due to the fires out west right now. He also might be sharing due to him hitting the eight-year milestone as a volunteer firefighter.
Duggar fans love Austin’s new post
In response to Austin Forsyth’s new post, his followers are thanking him for his service. His sister-in-law Anna Duggar writes, “Thanks for serving the community! 🙌🏻” Plenty of other similar comments follow. Some are talking about the good example he’s setting for his kids too. In just 24 hours, Austin received around 14,000 likes on his post.
Fans also love to see this new side of Austin. He doesn’t play a huge role in the family’s TV show, so fans are excited to see him away from the big screen.
In a recent YouTube video, fans saw Joy and Austin meet their new daughter, Evelyn Mae. In this emotional moment, both Joy and Austin cry tears of happiness as they hold their baby for the first time. This gives fans another opportunity to see Austin in a different setting.
