‘GH’ Alum Vanessa Marcil Gets Candid About Ex Brian Austin Green
General Hospital alum Vanessa Marcil is not a fan of her ex, Brian Austin Green. However, she has nothing but good things to say about his most recent ex, actress Megan Fox.
GH Star Shares Son With Brian Austin Green
It’s hard to keep track of who dated who in Hollywood! Way back in 1999, General Hospital’s Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett) was dating Beverly Hills 90210 actor Brian Austin Green. The two were even engaged at one point. During their relationship, they had a son, Kassius.
Their son is now 18-years-old, but Brian and Vanessa went their separate ways in 2003. She went on to marry CSI: NY star Carmine Giovinazzo. That marriage lasted two years. The GH alum was also wed to actor Corey Feldman before she gained fame on the daytime sudser.
Now Vanessa is engaged to someone she refers to only as ‘MC’ on social media. While Vanessa has tried to have more children, she has sadly had seven miscarriages in the attempt. Kassius remains her only child.
But She Says She ‘Never Loved’ Her Ex
On September 11, the actress posted a throwback photo as a tribute to the lives lost in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The photo shows Brian Austin Green cradling Vanessa’s growing baby bump. In the caption, she remembers what she was doing on the morning of September 11, 2001.

Vanessa writes that she was on the way to the airport to fly to NYC. Brian was driving her, but they got a call from her worried mother, who told them to turn on the news. The somber memory took a different turn in the comment section.
A follower wrote that it is her belief that Vanessa “still love[s] her ex.” But Vanessa was quick to clarify her true feelings for the actor, Us Weekly reports. She replied that she was “never in love with him.” She went on to explain that she was “always honest” with her ex about her feelings. In fact, she says that was why he was so angry “toward her” and “fought” for so long over custody.
The actress reveals that Kassius is now back in Brian Austin Green’s life, after many years of being left out of it.
Vanessa Marcil Opens Up About Court Battle For Custody
Vanessa Marcil and Brian Austin Green fought a long, tense custody battle over Kassius. Some fans thought Megan Fox might have played a role in the disagreement. However, in her response to a fan asking who was responsible, Vanessa put those rumors to bed. She wrote that it is the “biological father’s responsibility to see his child.”
The former soap star went on to reveal more in her Instagram Stories. According to Daily Mail, Vanessa understands where Megan is in her life right now. She said that the Transformers actress, “is finally living her life for herself.”
Megan recently started dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly. The two met on the set of a movie directed by Vanderpump Rules’ Randall Emmett.
