Fan Asks RHOSLC Star to Reveal Transition Details… But Heather Gay Isn’t Trans

In the trailer and official cast photo, RHOSLC star Heather Guy has a somewhat masculine appearance. As a result, one fan had the impression that Heather was transgender. The fan asked Heather about her transition from male to female.

The fan wasn’t asking in a rude way at all, though some may consider the question itself rude. They wrote that Heather was “going to inspire” people with her story. There’s just one problem. Heather isn’t transgender.

Heather Gay Touted By Fans For Classy Response

It can’t be easy getting comments and questions about your appearance. Particularly if the questions come with the implication that you look manly. However, the RHOSLC star handled the question with grace and class.

She earned herself many fans on social media for her answer. Heather wrote that while she is an “advocate for the transgender community,” she is not trans herself. She clarified that she didn’t find the question insulting.

Heather then encouraged the fan and her followers to “bring as much awareness as possible” to the transgender and LGBTQ communities.

Twitter user @NineDaves retweeted a screenshot of the exchange. They wrote that they are “already stanning” the RHOSLC star. Many fans replied to the tweet by praising Heather for how she handled the “troll.” One fan asked why people are being mean to the RHOSLC star already.

Scroll down to the comments and leave your thoughts. Do you think the fan was out of line or purposely trolling Heather? Are you ‘stanning’ the RHOSLC Housewife for her classy response? Let us know!

Other fans mentioned the shocking news that one of the RHOSLC stars married her grandmother’s ex-boyfriend. We’ll have to wait for RHOSLC to premiere for the tea on that startling revelation.
