For the past five seasons of Below Deck Med, Hannah Ferrier has been a large part of the show. But in a previous episode, Captain Sandy Yawn fired her for having unregistered Valium and a CBD pen. Bosun Malia White learned that Hannah had these items in her belongings and sent a photo to Sandy.

The chief stew had a panic attack after the former chef left. Chef Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran decided to leave the boat when he struggled with his meals. Shortly thereafter, Hannah had to leave the boat. While she didn’t get along with Sandy, fans were still shocked to see her go.

Hannah didn’t like how her firing played out. She also didn’t like it when Malia “snitched” her out. Fans agree and they called the bosun a “snake.” The former chief stew called out her former crew member on social media.

Below Deck Med star calls Malia White a “snitch”

Hannah Ferrier caught wind of an August 15 post by @housewivestrivia. The fan account showed its support for the former chief stewardess. The fan account posted a side-by-side photo of Hannah and Malia White that read, “I’d rather be called a b***h than a snitch.” Hannah offered her input in the comments section on Monday, September 7.

“Any day of the week,” she simply wrote. A lot of fans on @commentsbybravo shared their support for the Below Deck Med alum. Most of them revealed that they’re on #TeamHannah. Others feel that Hannah shouldn’t have gotten fired.

However, fans had different reactions on the @housewivestrivia post. Some think the firing was well-deserved since Hannah was lazy and has done some shady things in her past. Meanwhile, other fans are just fed up with seeing Sandy and Malia on their screens. They want a new cast for a change.

Hannah Ferrier didn’t like how her firing went down

Since the Below Deck Med episode aired, Hannah shared her frustration. She felt she had the right to explain why she had the prescription medication on board. But she couldn’t even explain herself. Instead, Sandy asked her to pack her bags and leave the boat immediately.

“[The confrontation] could’ve been a back-and-forth, as opposed to such a drastic measure taken without so much a conversation after,” Hannah told The Daily Dish. “That was in my fifth season with Below Deck. So I was really disappointed in that, but then I also know that at the end of the day, she is the captain.”

While Hannah hates the way things happened, Sandy has “no regrets” about firing Hannah. Hannah may no longer work in yachting, but she is helping other aspiring yachties pursue their dreams through an online yachting course. She also has a new podcast, Dear Diary, You’re Effed.

Below Deck Med airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
