How To Watch Joy Duggar’s Birth Video
Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth recently welcomed their second baby to the world. Evelyn Mae joined their family in August. The couple also shares two-year-old Gideon. Shortly after Evelyn’s birth, Joy shared her birth story video.
Joy and Austin uploaded the video on their YouTube channel. They promoted the video on social media too. In addition to sharing the birth video, the couple shared a video of them going to the hospital.
Austin says, “We arrived at the hospital at 8pm. Started a low dose of Pitocin that night to get Joy’s contractions going. At 7:30am that next morning the Dr. came in and broke her water. Once he did that, Contractions became pretty strong and steady and her body started to labor on its own. At around 1pm Joy started pushing and our baby girl arrived at 2:12pm! The baby was posterior (sunny side up), so that explains why Joy had such terrible back labor and why she had to push so long!”
Some of the Duggar fans who watched Joy’s newest video mention that they like the unedited video. While Joy and Austin edited the video, TLC didn’t. So, the video shows what Joy and Austin wanted to be included. Fans also seem to like that there aren’t a lot of commercials or added drama.

Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth may leave Counting On
Joy uploading her birth video to YouTube instead of it being featured on TLC’s Counting On raises some questions. Derick Dillard revealed that Joy and Austin are no longer filming for the family’s show. Plus, Joy and Austin were missing from the promotional videos and photos.
While fans have seen Joy and Austin on the show here and there, they don’t appear to play a prominent role. This could be why the birth of Evelyn isn’t airing on TLC.
As of right now, Joy and Austin haven’t shared specific details about their departure from the show. And, it’s possible that they will continue to film in group settings, such as family birthday parties and other gatherings.
Even though Joy and Austin may not play a major role in the show anymore, Duggar fans can still keep up with them. Both Joy and Austin share frequent social media updates. Plus, they often upload videos to their YouTube channel.
