Should ’90 Day Fiance’ And ‘Darcey & Stacey’ Star Darcey Silva Date Older Men?

90 Day Fiance alum Darcey Silva is now starring in her own TLC spinoff, Darcey & Stacey with her twin sister. The 45-year-old reality star wants to move on with her life following her disastrous relationships with Jesse Meester, 27, and Tom Brooks, 39. In Sunday’s episode of Darcey & Stacey, she said she is open to love in the “right way.” However, she is now getting involved with yet another younger man – the hunky Bulgarian, Georgi Rusev. Has she learned anything at all from the past?

In Sunday’s episode of Darcey & Stacey, Darcey says she wants to release her past baggage. She doesn’t want to bring it into her new relationship. This is all well and good, but while Tom was only six years her junior, Jesse was 18 years younger than Darcey. The TLC reality star is now embarking on yet another relationship with a younger man – 32-year-old muscleman Georgi Rusev.

In that episode, she speaks to a therapist about “toxic partners” and “red flags” she should have seen in her relationships with Jesse and Tom. Darcey also wants to discuss the impact of age differences on her relationships.

While Georgi is originally from Bulgaria, he has been living in Arlington, Virginia for a number of years. He works as an aspiring model and has worked on the runway and in print. Besides modeling, Georgi also works as a massage therapist and offers home massage services. Apparently, he is a certified masseur with five years of experience.

Should the Darcey & Stacey star date an older man?

It is easy to understand why Darcey would be attracted to a muscular and hot younger man, especially if he can give a good massage! However, will this relationship be any different from her last two experiences? Her fans and followers on Instagram don’t believe it will be any better for the TLC reality star.

Darcey recently posted an image of herself to Instagram. On the image was the wording, “No man will take me down! Figure out Yourself! I ain’t your Mama!” She captioned the post, “I said my peace [sic]…”

Fans were quick to respond, asking her to look for an older man. One comment read: “Love you girl but u should date an older more mature man who is settled already leave these young boys alone.” The comment received 60 likes. Another fan responded to the comment, writing, “yes I got rid of the f boys, got myself an older man and it’s amazing.”

On the other hand, another comment read, “I would agree with you, but older men have no patience for drama, plus most of them want women under 40 with no baggage.” Come to think of it, Darcey does like the drama, doesn’t she?

A negative response to the post said: “Stop degrading and embarrassing yourself in order to be in a relationship. Desperation isn’t attractive.” Another comment read: “Darcey- Don’t worry about men. I know you’re lonely and desperate for love and affection. Just know that you’re daughters see and feel this also. Be a strong role model for them and don’t act so desperate and insecure.”

90 Day Fiance alum needs to take a break

However, probably the best advice the 90 Day Fiance­ alum received was this: “she needs to leave all men/boys alone for a bit. Focus on herself and focus on getting herself right.” It does feel like Darcey hops from one relationship to the next with no real break.

While she is seeing a therapist on Darcey & Stacey, hopefully, she will get the best advice and maybe take the middle of the road! In the meantime, Darcey says she is excited to reveal more about her “past, present and future” family life on the new TLC spinoff.
