‘BIP’ Couple Kevin Wendt, Astrid Loch Make A Big Move….Literally!
The coronavirus has put many Bachelor Nation weddings on hold. However, that didn’t stop Bachelor in Paradise couple Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt from making a positive move. While they weren’t able to get married, they’ve added to their family and now made another huge step.
Astrid and Kevin are moving
The adorable couple went to Instagram today to share their big news. Astrid and Kevin bought their first house together. Kevin shared the news with a photo of himself, Astrid and their dog standing by the sold sign.
Kevin said, “Today is 1 year since I popped the question💍. Since the wedding is pushed we thought it’s a great time to say goodbye to the condo life! We bought our first family home in Toronto and move in 2 weeks 😬!! I get a garage, Ace gets a new neighborhood to explore, and Astrid gets, well…. the rest. Happy wife happy life they say.😉 (Thanks so much @nic.n.martin for finding us such a great home and helping set up the upcoming renovations!) 🏡🧡.”
Astrid replied on his post saying, “DOUBLE SINKS 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼.”

Everything else in their lives
Aside from this huge move buying a house, Astrid and Kevin are living life to the fullest. Kevin recently celebrated 9 years being a firefighter. He posted a photo of himself sitting in front of the fire engine. He said, “9 years on the job. Wow, time sure flies. So many great friends made, and so many memorable experiences with this uniform on. Cheers to 20 more years my brothers and sisters 🍻🙏🏻.”
And, when they are not working, they are having fun together and with Ace. Another photo shows Kevin and Ace on a boat loving summer life. Another photo shows Astrid and Kevin sitting in the back of a truck. She said, “37 days of summer left…holding onto every single one 🤎.”
It was back in June Kevin and Astrid added Ace to their family. He is precious. Astrid and Kevin both shared photos welcoming their dog into their family. Astrid said, “The Wendt’s, now a family of 3. Meet Ace 🤎. We rescued this sweet pup at the beginning of March with the help of @bunnysbuddies, and then boom, COVID hit. It’s been a long three months but he’s finally home (& 90% potty trained thanks to some amazing foster parents). Be sure to check out @thewendtgang (our family account) to see his “journey” home.
P.S. I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t mention that adopting a pup is a huge responsibility. A pandemic may make you want to add a four-legged baby to your family but PLEASE be sure your post-quarantine lifestyle will still be able to accommodate a dog.”

The pandemic stopped their 2020 wedding, but Astrid and Kevin are okay with it. They are now getting married in 2021 and can’t wait.
