Will ’90 Day Fiance’ Star Kalani Leave Asuelu After Fight With His Mother And Sister?
Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa have had a rough ride on this season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? What with money problems and fights between the couple, there has been plenty of drama. On top of this, after fighting with Asuelu’s mother and sister, Kalani tells the cameras, “I just feel like I’m done.”
90 Day Fiance stars Kalani and Asuelu’s relationship in turmoil
In previous episodes, it has started to look like Asuelu is finally acting mature and taking responsibility for his family. In a recent argument with his mother and sister over money issues, Asuelu even took Kalani’s side. He told his family he won’t be able to support them financially until he has a full-time job. Of course, TV Shows Ace knows that Asuelu has had a good job for two years with a Polynesian dance company. However, in the current storyline, he and Kalani are struggling. Asuelu says everything is expensive in America and he needs to pay the bills.
Despite Asuelu sticking up for Kalani, his family isn’t going to take no for an answer. Kalani took it on herself to have a one-on-one chat with his mother and sister. The 90 Day Fiance star pointed out that they can ask for whatever money they want. However, basically it is going to be a case of what she says goes in the matter.
Kalani understands the Samoan culture
Kalani does understand Samoan culture, as her father is from that country. However, she believes Asuelu’s mother and sister are taking things “to the extreme.” She explains that her husband doesn’t earn enough money to support two families. However, this leads to Asuelu’s sister, Tammy, accusing her of being “lazy” and brainwashing Asuelu.
According to Tammy, Kalani, 32, is older than Asuelu and is trying to be in control of the relationship. She even accuses Kalani of getting pregnant on purpose to snag her husband. This is the final straw for Kalani, who is speechless. She walks away, saying she is “done.” Tammy isn’t taking this and becomes angry, lunging out at Kalani, but her mother, Lesina does hold her back.
Kalani accuses Tammy of physically fighting her
Later in the episode, Kalani tells Asuelu that his sister, Tammy wanted to physically fight her. Instead of taking her side, however, Pulaa tells her his sister could knock Kalani out. This isn’t exactly what the 90 Day Fiance star wants to hear. She responds angrily to Asuelu, saying she can even beat him up, which offended the Samoan.
By now, Kalani is furious and tells him, “Now you’re pissing me off because you turned this whole thing into whether or not who would beat up who. Like your family. You talk in circles of nonsense. Let me get out of here. You’re a lunatic.”
By this stage, Kalani has totally had enough of her husband and his family. His mother tells her she doesn’t care about the kids and wants to take her son back to Samoa to “do his duty as before.” Tammy tells Kalani maybe they need to get divorced or separate.

90 Day Fiance star Kalani feels like she is done
In her confessional, Kalani says she has tried everything to fix her marriage. She just needs to think about what she wants to do. Kalani says she can’t live like this anymore, adding, “This is insane. I just feel like I’m done.”
The TLC reality star says she loves her husband but is disheartened over the way he acts. Breaking into tears, she says, “I do feel like I love him still. I just feel like every day it’s getting less and less.” She says she feels like if things keep continuing like this, she won’t want to be a part of the marriage any longer.
As noted by Screen Rant, what makes things worse is that Tammy had accused Kalani of getting pregnant on purpose to marry Asuelu. After hearing that, it hurts so much more to see her husband doesn’t support her. All Asuelu could do was tell her that Tammy would have beaten her in a physical fight. These are not words a wife wants to hear from her loving husband.
