‘Sister Wives’: Meri Brown Offers Giveaway for Lizzie’s Heritage Inn Anniversary

Sister Wives fans saw Meri Brown fighting for her ancestral home in Parowan, Utah. It came three seasons back on the TLC show. Eventually, she raised the money without the help of her family. Now Lizzie’s Heritage Inn is well established. In celebration of the 150-year old home, Meri Brown offers giveaways in a fun virtual celebration.

Fans of the TLC show saw Meri desperate to raise money for the downpayment on her ancestral home. Her great-great-grandparents built it in 1870. We reported that Meri excitedly told the other wives that she got a loan for the home approved. But, when said she needed a loan for the downpayment, they balked at it. Kodi refused to help. The wives didn’t like her business plan for a BNB.

Eventually, he conceded he might assist if he got appointed to the board of directors. About then, the other wives offered $40,000. But by then, Meri managed without the Sister Wives family. She said, “Once I get this house done, I don’t want to have any more business meetings about my house.” She ran it her way. And, it looks great. Now, she celebrates the 150-year-old home with a virtual event.

On Instagram this week, Meri wrote, “Wonderful news!” Then, she mentioned her excitement because they plan “a virtual 150-year celebration.” Lizzie’s Heritage Inn is three years old. But, the home turns 150! Meri said that all fans get an invite. Fun activities like a “bake-along” and other “virtual challenges” help with the festivities.

In fact, a “lucky winner” stands a chance to win “a 2-night stay at Lizzie’s Heritage Inn!” Sister Wives fans love the idea, so they wait for more instructions. The celebration takes place at the end of this month. Meri struggled during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, The Sun reported. But, she reopened in July and things look up for the Sister Wives star. And, she won a special award for the best Utah BNB twice.

One fan wrote, “Congrats how wonderful ❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏. I hope it stays in the Family for 100 more years.” Another person commented, “Beautiful event. Preservation of Homes, Architecture, and By Gone Era, are so important. Stories of living life and thriving off of the land. Including Church days, and favorite past-times spent thru-out the Seasons.”

Other Sister Wives fans fully intend to enter the bake-off and other activities. So many of them love the idea of the free two-day offer. Meri racked up a huge following from the TLC show. And, fans know that her mom produces some wonderful-looking meals for guests. So, expected some stiff competition!
