Pumpkin, Mama June’s Daughter Tries For Another Baby
Pumpkin, Mama June’s daughter, and her husband Joshua Efird married just over two years ago. They birthed their adorable toddler Ella Grace, (Tinks). Plus, they took in Pumpkin’s little sister Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo). Still in her early 20s, fans adore Pumpkin for taking on that added responsibility. Now, she said that they try for another baby.
Pumpkin wants another child, Mama June’s not so sure
On Wednesday, Pumpkin took to her Instagram and shared a photo of her and Josh cuddling. She captioned it with, “Old to us new to y’all ❤️. I love you big head.” When one fan said, “Y’all need to have another baby !!! Love y’all 😍,” Pumpkin replied. She said, “most definitely trying.” Many fans sounded thrilled at the news. But, others think she should rather wait a bit.
In the last season of the WEtv show, fans saw that Sugar Bear and Jennifer wanted custody of Alana. Pumpkin and Josh took her in after her mom, Mama June took off with Geno. Now, Honey Boo Boo remains in Pumpkin’s custody as June goes through rehab and sorts out her legal problems. Fans think that Pumpkin already took on enough responsibility for such a young woman. It seems that Mama June might also be not so sure about another baby.
Some fans think Pumpkin should wait a bit
Mama June commented on Pumpkin’s post. She said, “he’ll no tink is enough she is made over.” It’s not clear what she meant by that. But, fans assume that she meant Josh won’t want another kid because he already has enough attitude on his hands. One fan replied to her saying, “@mamajune well, she held your job and her job down pretty well. Give her credit and plus you’ll have another sweet grandbaby❤️❤️.”
Many fans agree that perhaps Pumpkins should hold off on another child for now. After all, she could still keep Alana in her home for some time to come. The Sun pointed out, June “awaits trials after being arrested on possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.” Plus, she could face actual “jail time.”

Josh and Pumpkin don’t earn a lot of money
Those fans who urge the couple to go for another baby got countered by others. Several people pointed out that Pumpkin works in a store. They don’t have a lot of money. So, why stretch the budget until they improve their income? A fan noted, “Shes gonna succeed in life once shes 30 with a real career to raise her kid. Shes struggling and doesnt need to rush into having a baby.”
