Jill Duggar Finally Explains Her Social Media Absence
Jill Duggar Dillard’s most recent Instagram post came in late July. She typically shares new posts nearly every day. Some days, she posts twice a day. Plus, she often shares peeks into her day on her Instagram stories. Much of her social media content revolves around her two sons, Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3.
So, when Jill didn’t post on social media for nearly a month, her followers were confused, especially because she didn’t give an explanation when she left. Of course, giving Counting On fans an explanation isn’t necessary. Often, when social media users with a large following decide to go on a social media hiatus, they will let their followers know. But Jill seemed to just disappear. Nonetheless, all seems to be well for Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard. Now, Jill is finally back and gives her followers an update.
Jill Dillard returns to social media
Jill shared a new photo on Wednesday night. In the sand, she had written a D, a heart, and a J. She explains, “We had a wonderful last minute vacation! It was our first family beach vacation!” In her post, she promises to share more photos and videos soon.
Jill also asks her social media followers to guess where their family went. So, Duggar fans began sharing their best beach vacation destination guesses. So far, Jill hasn’t responded to their predictions, but she will likely make the reveal when she shares more photos of the trip.

Duggar fans happy for Jill and Derick
In response to her post, fans are saying how happy they are that Jill and Derick, as well as their two sons, were able to get away for a little while. Jill’s cousin and close friend Amy King wrote, “Can’t wait to see!! Happy y’all got away and just enjoyed time together!!đŸ’•”
Many other comments shared similar comments. They’re all pretty excited to see the new photos and videos that Jill will share soon.
Of course, some of Jill’s followers are unhappy that she and Derick went on vacation amid the coronavirus pandemic. They hope they stayed safe during the trip and maintained their distance on the beach.
